Many have asked, "Where are Caitlin Clark's teammates?" when she has been the recipient of hard fouls and even some dirty play. In the game against the Chicago Sky on Sunday, teammate Kristy Wallace stepped up to defend Clark after seeing something she apparently didn't like.

So glad you mentioned this because I saw her step in and I haven't heard anyone mention it. I also commend Carter for stablizing CC before letting her go and for pulling her teammate away. I thought Carter had a good game and showed a level of sportsmanship I hadn't seen in her before. And to know one of CC's teammates is willing to have her back made me feel much better about the Indiana team's unit and CC's safety.

1. THAT LITERALLY GAVE ME CHILLS to see her team mate step in, even with a slight smile, like "y'all not gonna just keep getting away with this". That's all it takes, and I don't ever want to see a brawl break out, not lady like! 2. That's a very good point Plus Carter knows she lost her cool in that very moment Who scores a shot n then runs up to a player and ran smacks her Normally when a player scores the first instinct is her back in d Almost 99.99 percent of the time When someone scores the run back to get on defense But she didn't No "where's Clark" She heard all the backlash So she learned fast

Be real - Clark ran right into Chennedy. Chennedy didn't step up or prevent anything - if she hadn't brace up they both would have fallen. She doesn't get credit for not shoving or getting in Clark's face. She's realized she has to try and play nice, or she will be out of the league. (She's already been kicked off two teams for her violent behavior, she won't survive a third time). Why are people more invested in defending the abusers than the abused? - Don't people know that the Bully Club is who has been destroying the league for decades, for there own power grabs, at the expense of all of the other women who would rather play in a clean leauge -if only they had the backing. It's time that we backed them up, all of the players who play clean and with sportsmanship. The Bully Club's time is up, don't support them. They will continue to point fingers, cry, scream, and lash out - which will only make them sink deeper into the quicksand of their own stink. Don't help those who brag about hurting others, support those who have stayed clear of the muck.

@@destinypirate what they don't realize is that bu$iness goes better in a relationship rather just an exchange of service for profit...This game is a job and thevW is a business and once you start speaking against the same capitalist system but trying to do business here you're chasing away your own profitable opportunitie$ you either like living here and making money or you dont...Tbh all the leftist ideologies being put in their heads is creating the biggest conflict of interest for them...And a double minded person is unstable in all their ways. 🤔

@destinypirate I like what Albert Einstein said " I've never seen a rat build a rat trap but I've seen human create an atomic bomb." You need 10 more players with Clark's thinking and skill level to drive the influence and get them over the internal conflict mentally wrestling with being apart of the economy and letting go of conflicting ideologies that hinder their professionalism...You can't play your be$t game with any grudge that is separate from basketball..This is where alot of the unhealthy competition is coming from...All the be$t players did one thing n one thing only play ball...Jordan never entertained politics or had any personal agendas outside of basketball and every player who's tried to emulated him has been extremely $ucce$ful because of this isolated laser focus on the game. And im dying for the youtubers to do the same instead of stirring up n adding fuel to controversy...There's enough positive narratives in the W to grow the game ..Their basketball journeys need to be covered not the controversy. ❤️

You are so right, Adrienne... And when tall Kristy Wallace stood up for Caitlin and got in Evans' face, it stopped Evans aggression immediately. And that Chennedy Carter wasn't cursing or getting in Kristy's face, either. Instead, bully Carter started pulling her teammate back. It's too bad none of the other of Clark's teammates are this supportive.. but I guess one is better than none.

I also noticed Carter’s composure as she kept CC from falling and also was pulling Evan’s away from the situation. Hopefully Carter is also trying to show good sportsmanship now. People have their moments I get it. This game was all basketball though and I enjoyed it! And that’s what it should be! But agree Adrienne the Fever is starting to come together, they have gotten opportunity to know each other off the basketball court, and I think that will only make their team stronger and United and hopefully will continue to show that they have each other’s back.

Love your commentary Adrienne. Dana Evans grabbed Caitlin's arm, but I don't think she expected Caitlin to intentionally hold her left arm down to her side to trap the arm and hold it there to prove the foul. It's sad, that Caitlin has to resort to that, but the referee had to assess a foul when the proof was still there after the play was done. Caitlin's starting to get wise to these women, and she's learning how to use their tactics against them. This time it backfired on Dana Evans and she didn't like it, but hey, as they all keep saying, IT'S JUST PART OF PLAYING AGGRESSIVE BASKEBALL IN THE WNBA.

I am wondering why nobody is talking about the hip bump which the Suns' player put on Cameron Brink in the split second before Brink fell to the floor and tore her knee up. The game announcers at first said, well, it was incidental. Incidental? The Suns' player came up on Brink as she was driving straight up the court and put this move on her to throw her off balance. This was OBVIOUS. Then later one of the announcers referred to the two players "getting tangled up". Tangle up? As if they just happened to be in physical contact with each other? NO. NO WAY. No way that Brink was somehow contributing to this physical contact in such a way that you could say, well, both players were going at it and thus they both got tangled up. No way Brink was doing that. The Suns' player deliberate bumped against Brink's hip and within no more than a second and a half, max, Brink was on the floor. She was knocked off balance by the Suns' player and THAT is why she fell. And now a great player is out for a year. I think the only way to clean up this garbage league from playing like thugs is this: if you make contact with a player who then gets injured, then you are not allowed to play until the injured player is well enough to play again. Period. In other words, you suffer the same penalty as they player who you physically pushed into an injury situation. You put that rule in play and 90% of the hard fouls will disappear. Period.

1/1000 Talk real about the WNBA, you are 1. People run away when I state the facts: The WNBA is run by a Bully Club (headed by Dawn Staley and her talen-monopoly that undermines both the wNCAA and WNBA) along with Taurasi, other UConn and uSC alums, the MN coach, etc.). They have instilled Institutionalized Bullying where each new class has to take the abuse and by doing so can be accepted into the club - as long as they become abusers of the next rookies. Because of this, the WNBA has the highest rates of injury and players going out of the league of any major basketball league. When it came out that the Olympic committee was run by Staley and uSC people, who was surprised? No one really. Even if people haven't put all of the pieces together - they've been kind of seeing it. The ''surprise'' at Clark being iced out was only for those who hadn't looked under the hood. For under the hood we find the Bully Club world, defined foremost by Dawn Staley "We're not monkeys" loaded statement to frame Coach Bluder as racist, The WNBA Bully Club FEARED that the Olympics would be seen, by the world, as the stage where the torch was passed to Caitlin. So they iced her out. But they were too late. - The torch was already passed. Clark has had the torch since early 2023. Some might say that is too soon, that she didn't earn it, but the truth of why she could have it so fast is simple. No one else had the torch. It had remained, unlit, awaiting a True Sportswoman to come and pick it up, and light it. Now it is hers to carry. She is carrying the torch, and the light is attracting the bullies - who have made a coordinated effort to come at her through inciting fans to insults, to endless sideeye and cold shoulders in the WNBA, to the Bully Club's talking heads trying to debase Clark, to social media posting attacking her with the woke ideology, to the most over-the-top D any rookie has ever seen (according to retired WNBA players), to taking hard hits and violence on the court, to being deserted by her own coach and team mates. Since Clark ''wronged'' them so much - by rising so high, and because she wouldn't kneel and wouldn't kiss the ring, they will try to destroy her and hold onto their small power any way that they can. Doesn't matter. The WNBA Bully Club made a fatal miscalculation. Clark's fans, the Iowans and those who align with the tradition and values of loyalty, hard work, good humor, sportsmanship, and championing the vulnerable are more enduring than any others. Her supporters are grounded and see her as a daughter of the land and treat her as a niece from down the road. Now her supporters see what the torch has exposed, the institutionalized abuse, and they won't stand for it for Clark nor - now that they know- they won't stand for any women being abused and used in the WNBA. This is a culture war in a fish bowl, Clark is the tip of a spear driven by a the truly enduring people of a silent majority. This is just the beginning. The Bully Club can cry and yell and trash about all they want, doing so they will just sink deeper into the quicksand of their own stink.

I played bb, 6 player, only rover could travel past the center line. Caitlin Clark sparked my interest. And your commentary is so helpful and makes me wish I could play again. Keep it up, you're great.

Boston came to CC's defense with an obnoxious reporters question about TO's. These guys are such vultures they take a great game by CC and make a comment about TO's . As AB said, we're getting used to her in that she can see the court so well that the ball can come at any moment. We need to be ready.

lol I thought it was funny but nice Wallace defended her teammate. Although, when it comes down to it Wallace don’t want the smoke - the Fever team just don’t have that rough around the edges type of personalities on the team. All the women are just too nice. Aliyah Boston and Nalyssa Smith are just gentle giants. I think we have to keep that in mind about this team. I can’t imagine Boston getting into a brawl and I actually respect that about her.

Wally has always had her back and has looked like she was damn near crying when some of these bad ones happened. I guess she realized the enforcer wasn’t going to be a post player

Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy listening to you. You are so honest. Thank you. A lot of individuals are saying Caitlin's fame is racist. Your thoughts.

Thank you for the kinds words. I've done at least one video on that. I think one is about the WNBA players whining about league racism. Take a look at that one. I'm sure I've mentioned it in other videos also.

If you have not heard the reason that Kelsey Mitchell does not want to give up the ball. She was the top scorer in the WNBA last year and she does not want Caitlin to steal her glory. She may share sometime but she is always going to be on top.

In my opinion while Carter caught her, she couldn't have avoided supporting Clark. Watch it again. It was meant to happen b/c that body connection relieved negative tension, animosity...like when someone gives you a hug. It was Carter unintentionally expressing affection if you will. It took the bullish side away from Carter. That translated to the spectators to feel that too. I

This is more than a team "gelling". It's the smarter players (Boston, Wallace, Smith, Hull) realizing that hooking their wagon to the Caitlin Clark powertrain could be life-changing. Expect many other WNBA players -and the upcoming draftees- to follow suit. Clarck taking over.

You are right. If you are a bench player and don't stick up for your best players, that's a good way to lose your roster spot at year end.
