In it's own way after School's Out, it was good that they took time away from each other. So many folks fell in love at 14 and never stayed with their First Real Love. Dude I just thought about this show and watching some clips and episodes. I watched this show as a younger kid. It’s cheesy now, but learning more about Degrassi high, man these scenes are so much deeper. I would usually ignore these scenes, but this is why Degrassi is more than a teen show and should’ve been. They should’ve kept this romance going especially since Craig was there since season 7. Pissed if they killed this iconic romance off cause that fat Kevin Smith being a selfish POS. Joey is what real men what want to be even if he is nerdy looking. He doesn’t get the girl of his dreams that he earned. I got to watch more of this relationship, but the cheesy airport scene makes sense now.
