So with Taemin in the older songs, he was young enough when they debuted that he was still dealing with his voice changing. He was even mocked at that time by other groups fans saying he was tone deaf. Luckily with time and training with Jonghyun, and I believe Onew helped too, he became the vocalist we know now. He worked so hard in their early years and I’m forever proud of him

SHINEE’S BACK!! This was such a surprise, thank you Caitlin!!! For Married To The Music, the bride is basically doing a Frankenstein and taking the ”most attractive” parts of the members. So it’s Minho’s body, Key’s head, Onew’s nose, Taemin’s eyes and Jonghyun’s lips and we see the result in the spotlight during the end title. The chorus for View is basically ”such a beautiful view” and there’s a clip where Jonghyun (who wrote the lyrics) says Taemin was the inspiration 🥰 So looking forward to more Shinee and solo stuff whenever it’ll drop!

I remember how Tell Me What To Do became one of my favorites SO FAST and I would play it non-stop, especially while driving. Then Dec 2017 hit us with such a painful loss and it just became one of the hardest songs from SHINee/Jonghyun for me to listen to. Replay, Tell Me What To Do and Lonely are so beautiful but so heartbreaking. 😢 Jonghyun, you did well. We miss you so much, but we're glad you blessed us with your voice and talent. ❤️ Hope you found the freedom and happiness you have always deserved.

"Tell Me What To Do" is definitely my favourite SHINee title track. It's from their repackage "1 and 1" which also has my favourite b-side "If You Love Her" which is, imo, their best song vocally. It's just them and a piano and it's so good... the harmonies...like I said, their best song lol. Also, I agree with what you said with SHINee making you fall in love with music again. That's what happened with me as well. They inspire me so much too and also one of the many reasons that I love them so much and celebrate everything that they accomplish. Also, if you have time on your own, check out their lives of Tell Me What To Do...two words - silk and chokers.

Oh you have no idea how happy I am watching you react to 5HINee! I believe its because their consistency in bringing something new to the table in terms of sound, concepts, storyline etc, its always refreshing and exciting. Some backgrounds to the MVs/songs: Married to the Music The girl is actually putting together her ideal version of a man by combining all different parts of the members (Key's face, Taemin's eyes, Onew's nose, Jonghyun's lips and Minho's body). They also have a performance MV and you probably should check it out cause its amazing !(you can do it on your own free time) View This song was the first to bring the deep house genre into the KPop world. The lyrics were written by none other than Jonghyun after being inspired by a fan who has Synesthesia. It was also the first album where the members have full control over from choosing the title song to Key designing the outfits. Tell Me What To Do The song basically tells a story of friendship, unrequited love, jealousy, regret etc. From the MV, you can see that Taemin is in love with the girl however she is in love with Minho and both of them ended up together. Taemin became really jealous of them and started to fight Minho but Minho told him to accept reality and be cool while Key tried to break off the fight. Due to this jealousy, he 'killed' Minho and the girl while they were in the car by setting up a fire and the shot showing and zooming into the burning car was shaky as it represents the focal viewpoints of the rest of the other three members (Key, Onew and Jonghyun) running towards the burning car to save them but failed. After that, Taemin spent the rest of his time living in regret. The lyrics is about the other three members asking how to solve Minho's and Taemin's conflict and Taemin asking how to deal with his regret.

omg thank you for checking out the iconic shinee again! fun fact: shinee said in an interview that view wasn't that well accepted by the public in 2015. mostly because of how different the song structure and sound was compared to the classic kpop song structure with big drops, big vocals, dance breaks, etc. also the fashion for this comeback was very different too. What she said about SHINee making her fall in love with music more, I get EXACTLY what she meant. Like she said, how it's more than their vocals, their dancing, visuals, the sets, the storylines, it's THE MUSIC. What will always distinguish SHINee from other groups will be the music that they put out. It's only recent that I was able to open my musical horizon more than just pop, rock, hiphop, country, ballad. And I can't tell you how impressed I am with SHINee when I find genres like pop and many subgenres of pop, funk, jazz, house, dubstep, uk-garage, rock, jazz, jack swing, ballad, hiphop, R&B synth and so much more infused in their group and solo discographies. SHINee tickles my musical bone like no other group.

Okay I'm back after watching your reaction and I just have to say how much I enjoy watching SHINee wreck you lol. 😆 SHINee also makes me love music so much more, and I think it's a combination of everything, vocals, performance, production, stage presence, acting, lyrics, etc... but I also think a major part of it for me is the passion. They really show how much they love what they do.. Even though they have to fight super hard for creative freedom, I'm glad they do get some and become heavily involved in the songwriting and MV filming and stuff. Fun fact! SHINee introduced the deep house genre and the casual stage clothing with thsi comeback it was the first one with SHINee as main stylists and concept artists for their comeback. Which made sm give them even more freedom. After that groups started doing teopical house and the strict stage outfits changed to a completely different look. There are actually articles about this SHINee phenomenon and on how strongly they influence trends in the business and korea as a whole^^
