Fun fact about yuna’s solo: not yet but sounds like “Nan yeppeo” in Korean if you pronounce it with a Korean accent, and that translates to “I’m pretty.” Yuna coined it herself apparently, she’s so clever for that 💅 and 58 ways to shine correlates to the 58 sides of a diamond! I think besides Lia’s solo, Yuna’s is my favorite. I think it’s just so wholesome and the metaphor is perfect, especially for her. She’s gotten so much hate in the past year and it’s so heartwarming to see that she’s doing her best and living her life. The song just makes me so happy like I can’t wait for a live performance during the tour so I can learn the choreo lol

As for solo music, Lia has a few Kdrama OSTs, Yeji and Ryujin got a remix feature on Bebe Rexha's Break My Heart Myself after their Studio Choom MIX and MAX went viral, and Chaeryeong has a feature on Lee Chanhyuk's solo album, but this is ITZY's first venture into solo releases! Not exactly what you were asking for, but for 2023, they also released special covers on each of their birthdays that were well received. Highly recommend those.

Such an AMAZING album overall. I mean, 4 solo MVs + 3 full MVs. Kudos to the entire Production team and we are blessed to have this KPop group in the industry. Just have to add one more thing regarding the solos, Yeji's solo MV gave a glimpse into a future solo artist because she really does have it all, the look, the dancing and the voice. "Mr Vampire" is that DARKHORSE song and everyday it's just getting more and more popular! Great review Caitlin.

Imo itzy really came back strong and embraced their core and what makes every member individual and the group strong together the dance is amazing too ofc . the concepts and music is what made itzy what they were so im glad they went back to their roots . Beeeen waiting for this😭😂😂❤️ Hearing Caitlin talk about Chae's voice after her solo thinking oh she's gonna lose it with Mr. Vampire and Untouchable then👀😂😂😂 Real talk tho. Itzy slayed their solos and this entire album. No skips. But yeah they were all involved in their solos and you can tell. Yeji has her aggressiveness and shows her versatility, Ryujin's is more indie, alt garage band grunge which is what she likes I've noticed and Chae's is so Sunmi coded but with her own thing you can tell it's Chae's solo and with Yuna, she just owns these kinds of concepts so I think all in all they did an amazing job. Their album in general? Might be one of if not their best

I'm loving this comeback, the sound, the vibe, the choreos, it's all been amazing. And Chaeryeong has definitely had a more important part in these songs, she's always been my bias but I'm happy she's been brought more to the front to showcase her awesome voice! Plus Yeji being the absolute wrecker, her looks mixed with her dance moves were made to unalive us all. All around a slay, I've had their album on loop a lot since it came out, I think they did a great job! Haters gonna hate but this has to be my favorite Itzy album.

Obviously their songs are their own, but Chaeryeong's song is also very Sunmi-coded, even the video feels like something Sunmi might produce.
