After listening to Starfire in its entirety and digging in to older stuff I am astounded at the talent and heart to chase dreams...I tried Nashville at 20 and I got 1 published but it ended there. But I had a 2 year old and wouldn't move there. Point being Caitlyn Smith did the time and thanks be to God. She is absolutely the most impressive voice and sings like a cross between the angels and the heartbroken souls of the world. Really the BEST THING to come out of Nashville for a long time. REAL TALENT, RAW AND BEAUTIFUL. Not a contest winner made by others but someone who did pay the dues in the trenches of a very competitive market. Every song is one that is my new favorite and they rotate with one's mood. But that is the essence of truly MOVING MUSIC. I would love to see Caitlyn take home every award this year. She clearly has been a hidden gem in country music. Thanks Caitlyn for renewing my musical journey and I hope to see you again. Please come to Illinois again 🙏but have new mustang and will travel!!! Godspeed and never stop. XOXO
