I will never get tired of the flare sequence, the music, how it's choreographed with Claggor and Mylo on Jinx's back, the stark realization that her arm tattoo depicts the flare and she's been calling out for Vi all this time, aaaah it's so perfect. I totally agree with you, for me, the song was amazing, but one thing that's been ruined for me about the scene, if you look at Mylo when he appears behind Jinx it kinda looks like he is singing the song and personally I find that mad funny

The time skip from 3 to 4 is, according to one of the writers, 6-7 years. So a nine-year-old Powder, is now a 15-16 year old Jinx.

Actually, Ella Purnell, the voice actress that plays Jinx, stated that Powder was 9 when the explosion happened, marking the end of the first act. On the other hand, Amanda Overton (one of the shows scriptwriters) believes her to be around 11-12. So, Jinx could currently be either 16, or 17-19 years old. As for Vi, she was stated to be around 14-16 y/o in the first act, and around 20-23 in the second one. So, until they release the official ages, we can imagine them to be anywhere around the ones previously stated!

​@@Thebeezzkneezz. What makes you say she's not 9 ?? Remember that in episode 5, Vi tells Caitlyn that "her little sister could do that when she was seven". However, during episode one, it is quite obviously Powder's first time going for a job with the older kids. Considering how hesitant she is to jump from the roof in the first episode, it seems illogical to me to think that she was used to doing parkour before that time where we see her on screen. So it works better with Vi's quote if she's 7 during the first episode. Besides, when you look at Jinx's body and face, she most definitely isn't an adult yet. 18 at the very very most, unless she has some kind of growth anomaly.

4:48 "arcane" means basically magic. there are various types of magic, arcane magic specific is the one you can understand it. study it. learn it. it's not something you were born with, it's a knowledge, exactly like a science.

You are born with it, in the LoL universe, the Council even remarks on that in Episode 2. Hextech giving magic to non-mages is why it's such a big deal.

@@ninjatoriumnova2483 No hon, Hextec is the trademark Jayce gave to his discovery. He did not discover magic, the arcane already existed. You can say that Hextec is a type of arcane magic. It's the same with Singed creating shimmer, who later will be trademark as chemtech. He extracted the substance from Rio, who is a magic creature. Rio is born with magic. But singed made experiments on she, understood it, and extracted it to create shimmer. In so, he was using the arcane knowledge to do it. The only difference between Jayce and Singed, is that one is an engineer and the other is a chemical. Both created a type of arcane magic but trademarked it different. There are various types of magic in LOL universe. Those two are arcane. There's also Devine Magic, from the ascended people of Targon. Maybeee Shurima as well but their ascendend is from a device created by humans to replicate the devine process of Targon so you can argue that that's also arcane magic. And then, when it gone wrong creating the Darkins it became Fel Magic. Fel Magic is also the type of magic present in those evil beings like Evelynn, Fiddlesticks, Tahm Kench, Raum etc. Runic magic, which is arcane in it's raw form, the magic that Ryze and Brand uses it. There are also other non-magic people who found magic artefacts that is imbued in runic magic, like Ezreal. And we have Druidic magic which is all Vastayan people and the Yordles, and fairies, and magic creatures. And inside those categories there are sub categories like hemomance, evocation, transmutation, ilusion, frost magic, fire magic, and so on. You can add Hextec and Chemtec here also.

I just said you can't learn magic if you aren't born with magical abilities, which is something the show itself stated, and that Hextech is a game-changer because it allows non-mages to use magic.

Fun little easter egg: The scene after Jayce visits Viktor, where Savika is playing cards (just before Vi knees her) She tosses down her cards and the cards are "Death" and "The Magician" both references to Viktor.

Yes!! The man who made friends with Viktor as a child and reunited with him and had Rio (the lizard thing) was the man helping Silco years ago. The Last time we saw him he was caught in the explosion at the factory caused by Powder

The abject terror of coming home and finding *Silco* playing with your daughter. People give Markus a lot of shit, but man what fkn choice did he have but working with Silco? He made a deal to get the perpetrator behind the theft at Jayce's lab. He was *very obviously* upset when that deal resulted in Grayson's death and Vander's abduction, but from that moment on, he was complicit, and the only one with the understanding that *someone* needs to be in power in the Undercity to keep it from revolting like it did before. Throwing himself on the pyre and turning Silco in would more than likely have just resulted in a shitload of pointless deaths, and the Council very obviously doesn't give a shit about Undercity deaths. Yes, he was very obviously corrupt, but he chose a quiet, background evil over a pointless war that would have just resulted in someone else taking power in the Undercity. And besides, I have to imagine Silco had two or three people with standing orders to kill Markus' daughter if Enforcers ever came for Silco.

Well, the title of the fifth episode can be applied to several characters, Jinx with her traumatic visions, Vi returning to a place that is no longer her home, Caitlin going to where her mentor was murdered, Marcus pressured by Silco on one side and Jace on the other. another, Jace with his advance on the council found himself in a bid for power. in turn I call it the episode of revelations, Marcus and Silco have a deal, Victor is sick, Jace flirts with Mel although she seems to dominate him, Vi has particular tastes and Caitlin also may have something between them. the contrast is almost everything, we see a flashback of Grayson who advises Caitlin and then her grave with Marcus showing who is following in his footsteps, the fact that he used the phrase in the bar "I'm going to bury them all" so that later it will be He who buried his officers for a bad deal made with Silco unlike the one Grayson had with Vander. the difference between Jace and Victor becomes more evident and while one becomes obsessed with his work the other gives way to corruption and passions, Vi without thinking confronts Savika to discover that her sister was adopted by Silco and not captured as she thought , who at that moment happens was baptized by Silco leaving her fears behind, now Caitlin must carry her partner who revealed that she likes him. the sixth episode reveals the childhood of Victor who was always underprivileged and whose apparent mentor to science was Silco's chemist, now resigned to the fact that his death is approaching, he risks experimenting with the arcane, Jace not far from his companion returns With without breaking his relationship with Mel who reveals his family past, Marcus now with Silco in his house sees how much trouble Caitlin brought him who released Vi and Silco lets him know about the consequences (we can see how Silco's shadow seems to take over the girl by the neck) the contrast between scenes reveals the difference between Jinx and Caitlin who in contrasts can be related; Jinx & Savica with a knife in the middle, Vi & Caitlin when she's awake and they look very close, Jinx with Chuck who gives her the drink without giving her any more change than a hug and a bomb on the back, Caitlin & Hobb who after Helping him receives a hug as the only payment since Caitlin only sees a poor man who carries his addiction, the contract in Hobb's betrayal of Vi & Caitlin for one more dose is seen in parallel with the betrayal that Professor Hermedinnger received for all the Council members, when interests are greater than friendship, you no longer have friends, although we must understand both situations. the meeting of the two sisters takes place in a very emotional scene and we see how Jinx carries her lost brothers all the time, one observation is that Jinx has the smoke from the flare tattooed on her arm, showing that she always expected to light it, the trick Savika left a bad impression at the meeting and now Jinx believed that Vi traded her for an enforcer and for the worse the firelights separated them again.

@@MiyaElizabethReacts Not the OP but I think the finale sometimes should deserve its own video. While I like seeing the arcs as a whole, because of how the arcs are laid out there tends to be very minimal discussion on anything but the finales to each arc when posted or viewed that way (coming from experience, I had to rewatch the season after I finished it to process anything that happened outside of the arc finales). I believe that Episode 9 is a large enough episode in terms of plot and action that it could have its own video, the discussion after the show is done likely took longer than other videos because it also has the connection to season 2 as well as probably needing an overview of the entirety of season 1. All this to basically say: You do you fam, I personally am cool with either way you want to edit it

A tiny nitpick, Jinx ptsd flashbacks are about event she caused, but did not see happen. It's not anything major really, but a thing nearly everyone simply misses while feeling bad for her self-caused trauma.
