29:00 YOU GET IT!! I seen so many people say this season was boring because there wasn't as many games or that they were boring. I legit saw some people say they skipped the first two episodes just because there wasn't any games which is just crazy to me! While I agree these games should be tense in the moment the games aren't the focus of this season it's the characters. I find it sad but also ironic that this show's message is that it's bad too get entertained by watching poor people suffer and kill each other in death games, and yet the audience whines about not getting to see poor people suffer and kill each other in death games...

One thing you might have missed is the front man used his right hand when playing spinning top, however last season when he shot his brother he used his left hand showing he's left handed. He purposely used his non-dominant hand to sabotage the game and to mess with Gi Hun, it was until the last throw he used his left hand. In my opinion he's just messing with Gi Hun for the sake of it, possibly to entertain the VIPs.

I didn’t know about the switching of hands but I agree that he’s definitely messing with Gi hun for sure. I could tell he was throwing the challenge but he also didn’t want them to lose just yet so he made sure they made it at the last second.

001 from the first season also really enjoyed the games themselves, I feel like the new 001 also just likes playing them. I feel like it would give you this wild rush, you're literally playing with death and at the same time toying with other contestants.

I swear like S1 player 001 was playing the games alongside the others, whereas S2 player 001 is literally playing WITH the others, like they are all part of his own game that he's playing against 456. Everyone from 002 - 455 is just a piece he's messing around with to see if he can break GiHun or make him lose the hope he's clinging to. In the last game he was throwing the spinning top with his non-dominant hand to eat up time and then when he actually wanted to do it he switched to the other hand. He's just fucking with them all.

But that's also probably because we know who he is this time and can read into his actions a lot more.

001 is playing 3D chess while GiHun is fumbling around. He seems to lose himself in the whole euphoria of the games and is cheering others on, but during their turn he was throwing with his non-dominant hand to miss and eat up time since the first 3 did so well, then when he wanted to do it right he threw with his dominant hand. He didn't need to do that, he did it just to waste time and add to the stress for the last person. Then he helps GiHun make the kick, just to keep him playing another round, since he hasn't beaten him yet. Watching s2 feels like while everyone from 002-455 is playing the games along side eachother, 001 is playing his own personal game against 456 and everyone else is just there for 001 to mess with. He eggs them on to win at the first vote, and then the last vote he's playing the voice of reason and trying to get them to quit. But all he's really doing is wearing down GiHun's hope and showing him that no matter what, the players will choose to play and kill eachother for their own greed rather than leave together. I think 001 wants to make GiHun betray himself and his purpose for coming back in, because their stories are similar, but how they have lived their lives after winning their own games is so totally different.

The actor who plays Hyun-Ju is in another really intense k-drama called "The Glory." He plays a real *+$#!;"!#(2;_7$!. It's very good but very intense. It was incredible to see his diversity between the two shows.

I really think the Front Man is there for several reasons. One to keep a close eye on Gi Hun and make sure he doesn't do anything crazy or drastic to stop the games. Also, I think he's there to also revisit the games and remember why people enter the games in the first place. I think it was Gi Hun conversation with either The Front Man or The Salesman when it was said that the players are trash who deserve to die. Front Man may have remembered that level of desperation he had trying to save his wife and unborn child. He was a good and upstanding, decorated police officer. Therefore not everybody in the games is there because they are gamblers, of addicts etc. It will be interesting to see how or if her reveals who he really is.

The people that say this season sucks have this weird nostalgia already for the first season which allow this expectations to be so high its beyond reaching. There wasnt going to be anything that could satisfy their need for that same feeling we all had during S1. These people didn't care about the characters in the first season only the plot and action. The irony of it all. They are giving the rich people wanting entertainment and not caring for the actual human providing that entertainment. The ones that are enjoying this season cared about the characters and their development...which is EXACTLY what we are getting. I LOVED season 2. It unpredictable and really makes your mind wonder HOW THE HELL IS THIS GOING TO END cause GIRL IDK!!

The "firsts" for everything in life will never meet the original feeling when happened the second time because we expect to it fulfill our chase for that 1st feeling again.

I say he's not the smartest MC, I really agree with the recruiter that he just got out because of luck and help from other player, in this season, there were many times he almost die, (but I guess, its the MC plot Armour) the scene in mini games, he almost didn't catch the toy thing with his foot, again in the shooting, Spoil he almost got shot again in the episode 7 shooting scenes but frontman shot the guard.

In my opinion: I didn't like this season even more than the first season 😅. Overall, Squid Game was monotonous for me. And the games didn't excite me either. The only thing that sometimes motivated me to watch this new season was how the 001 plays with them. He lies well.
