When I worked for Ovation Instruments, Adrian would come to our facility and put on a mini-concert for us and he thanked everyone there for making such great guitars. He was a very nice genuine man.

It’s been 14 years that i first watched this video. It must have been a thousand times ever since. I hope this video never gets taken down. And hopefully some big tiktoker will find this jewel and make it go viral. Adrian Legg deserves so much more recognition

I saw him in 93 at a small venue in Ann Arbor. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. He never seems to come to VT. He'd so be a big hit up here! I love the little self-deprecating nod of acknowledgment he gives at 2:53.

I've seen this guy play up-close and personal, literally 5 feet away, on two separate occasions while playing at the Ovation factory. One of the most amazing players I'll ever see in my life. How he does what he does, to watch it that close, is simply mind-blowing. I wish he'd come back!!!!

I saw him with Satriani,Vai, and Eric Johnson on the G3 tour Idan't remember the exact year1990 something,the cool tuning while playing just blew me away an experience I'll never forget,and Adrian was the opener after we saw Johnson,then Vai, then Satriani! Mind boggling!
@drouleau2 жыл бұрын
It was 1996 for the Satriani/Vai/Johnson G3 Tour w/ Adrian opening up. I saw them in NYC, it was the night the Yankees won the World Series and the show had gotten out just as the game had ended, and the entire city was going nuts which was pretty wild. Adrian was incredible, I sat there the entire 20 minutes with my mouth open. Vai was my favorite at the time, but Adrian basically upstaged everyone. I just wish I could remember the songs he was playing. One of them was basically an entire song of semi-sweep arpeggios that sounded amazing. Another song he was bending strings by using the tuning pegs, but was doing it so much and so often (and not always going right back to the original tuning), that I have no clue how he ended up with the guitar back in tune by the end of it. The guy was on a whole other level.

I'm not sure where to start with this musical genius, how he's mastered the acoustic transcends any simple little "words" that I might've used in honoring this groundbreaking master. For a person to have developed the technique he's created, you'd have to have spent...…..well, most of if not all of your life pursuing your artistic development, along with that outstanding technique. He's embodied the acoustic, has made it a "part of himself". The acoustic isn't just an instrument he's playing, he's "infused it" into to his very "being", as if it were an added appendage all its own.

allow me to save you ALL the trouble of deciding who is the best guitar player on the planet, as for technical playing, it is Terry Wedding . Hands down. period.You will probably never get to hear the man play but if you do then you will understand. If I could change something about music, it would be to turn the world on to "Real Talent" as Terry and the above guitarist also. Unfortunate that music has been turned into a propaganda machine that is twisted entertainment and NOT music anymore. You might get a glimpse of Terry in the new "Lenny Breau" documentary.
