I cut sofet pieces with the blade turned backwards. Lydia paints so neatly I would never say a word for fear I would get painted.

another tip when painting cut everything in with a brush or wiz roller before rolling , may have to do it twice depending on coverage but it will save you time and gie you a smoother finish , love you guy and gal ! Mr. HOOTIS !

Jim any time you need to cut metal like you're doing .Take the blade off your off saw, and turn it around backwards. it cuts sheet metal like your using, like a charm. I use to install mobile home skirting and that's what we used.

I painted houses professionally with my father for years when I was younger. We always did it with a paint brush and roller. Spraying is ok but you got to water down the paint and it’s messy also it’s less pride to have done it by hand. 😊 also it will last longer without having to do another coat. Great job🎉

Jim, you can reverse the blade on your circular saw and cut the soffett . Youll bee surprised how decent the cut turns out.

Hey Jim Happy Birthday. Just to let you know, when you cut vinyl on a miter saw you gotta turn the blade around backwards. Also if you use it to cut anything cement based, like your siding, you can't use the blade for anything else

I live the color choice I see going on by the door. It's a nice color tone and is set of nicely by the white. The soffit looks great and trimmed out very well as did the fascia board. Jim if you have very much of the soffit to cut you might want to try a 0 or negative hook blade, it doesn't pull the saw into the material. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jim. Thanks again for the great content.

Just a pro tip ,whn cutting plastic or vinal siding you can use your chop saw if you turn the blade around to cut in the opposite direction and it will cut flawlessly , just take the blade of and put it on backwards !
