Hey yall, if this is for goats, you might want to add a metal disk inside the tire and a nut to hold it in place so the goats wont chew the valve stem off. They will chew on everything. Paint the outside two tone green camo to mimic grass and bushes.

Just ordered two T-shirts and a bracelet. Even though we are in Missouri where newborn deer do not have to fear the government we would like to support the effort to put Dasher's Law on the books in Louisiana. Between the time of the first video about Dasher and this one we've had two baby deer born at our homestead, and every time I see them running and playing I think about poor Dasher.

In Australia all injured or babies from road kill are returned to the wild. Owls, Roo’s, Emu’s, eagles, Crocodiles ect are returned to the wild once healed .

Thank you for doing this for Dasher. I too in another state raised a baby deer with a broken leg. My son brought it home. The fawn was such a blessing, and lived in our house for a couple of weeks. Infection set in on her leg and she passed. But for a couple of weeks, she was as happy as any animal could ever be. I hope you can get some laws changed, and I have no idea how the law reads in my state, but I will be doing some home work on it. Keep doing what you do, and I wish we had more people like you in this country.

I would suggest a locking nut for the outside of the wheels on that goat house, or atleast double nutting it, save you the headache of the nuts coming lose and them falling off! I/s god bless! have a good weekend!

The Goat house hootis 9000 turned out AMAZING!! Yall know Im OCD so I would paint it the same as the house because I think it would aesthetically look the best, not to mention it would be cheap since you likely already have the paint. No matter what you paint it, its going to be awesome. I did notice the axle bolts stick out pretty far. Do you think you should trim them down a little? Goats are notorious for getting into trouble and I would hate to see one of them hurt their legs getting stuck in that gap. Lastly, Dashers Law - I am so proud of you both for stepping out of your comfort zone and making a difference. Yall are great roll models for us all and a great influence for children. I guess thats why most of us loyal followers love you so much. To the haters: all I can say is some people dont like to see others succeed. Its also easy to sit behind a keyboard and spew hate and discontent. Jim & Lydia, I know their words could be hurtful, but I hope you understand that the majority of us love you. Good morning my cajun friends! Jim, your ending message was heartfelt and spot on! I wish all could hear it and actually absorb your words and message - what a difference that could make. The goat shelter turned out great. As for the color Lydia, not knowing how close it will be to other structures and their colors, it could make a difference if you wanted them to be coordinated somehow. If not, I would go either with a very light color, approaching white or tan for heat control - or - a camo theme using a couple of greens and lighter background to match the field grass and treeline. I admire y'all for getting involved and trying to make a difference with Dashers Law. Not only is it doing good work for what you belive in, you will also be setting a great example for Ladly Rue as she observs her parents actions and hears them talking. I bought myself a Paslode finishing nail gun years ago. Yes, it was expensive, around $500-ish. But I can say that it's paid for itself many many times over. The fuel is pretty cheap and last for quite a while. If you have the Lithium battery, that little thing will go forever without having to be charged. It's definitely worth the money imho. Although I did have to save up for it. I'm definitely not a "well off" man by any stretch!!
