I would love to see a video literally just talking about your favorite supplies and discussing the differences between different materials for realistic cakes! For example, how do different kinds of buttercream affect how realistic it looks? When would you use fondant over modeling chocolate? What are your favorite sculpting tools? A good Q&A + hyperrealistic cake toolkit video would be really helpful! It could probably even be two videos, one being a beginners guide to hyperrealistic cake explaining basic tools and supplies needed and another going more in depth on the intricate differences between materials and techniques needed to make things look real.

That was fun. My DH actually told me about burn cakes, which I hadn't seen before. I'm slipping. More social media, stat! Now I'm up to date. Oh, so happy for the imminent arrival of your bundle of joy. Ahem, if you think things are tough now, wait till you're a mom. Maybe you could show us some super simple cake decorating ideas for super busy moms. Something the kids will be dazzled with that aren't too taxing. (I cringe when I think of the cakes I made for my son.) You're going to need to do lots of juggling for a good long time, so maybe you can go the easy peasy route for a while. Best wishes for your happy "reveal" day.

These sorts of videos are good to have ready to for if you all come down with the flu or something equally exhausting and you just don't have the energy or brain power to do a full from scratch cake. Natalie, just remember no matter who your baby grows up to be to love them unconditionally. Much like your cakes, sometimes children look like one thing so realistically you would never know it turns out to be different. A mother's love must be unconditional.
