Excuse me sir, I really do hate to interrupt, but I couldn’t help but notice something. You see, I have picked up the aroma of a certain pastry that I find most pleasant: cake. Because of this, I am completely unable to focus on the task at hand due to the distraction of this delicious desire. So, if you would be so kind as to give me the cake- yes, the WHOLE cake- I will be able to complete my duties in the orderly fashion as they were meant to be completed. Please consider the alternative: there is no alternative.
