I always say be patient...right at the last minute it will all come together...shading really helps too x

Awesome! What made you use a sponge rather than an airbrush Does it give a better effect, I wondered if you used lots more paint with the sponge x

How tall is the elephant and what height is the cake?

It’s approx 5.5” tall. I have no idea of the weight of the cake but it was 7” cake x

Hey Lorraine, really you could make the main bulk of the elephant ahead of time and store in a cake box until you’re ready. I would leave the ears until you’re ready to do the cake though xx
