Wow amazing!! Love your videos 😍 A question: can we re-use the remaining sugar syrup in the bowl after we have waited 2 weeks by placing a new steuere?

Thank you so much! And yes you can reuse the sugar syrup, however you will need to re-heat it and add more sugar to it (perhaps another 1/3rd of the original amount) to replace the sugar that was used to create the initial rock candy. Hope that makes sense :)

Where did you place your jars for the two weeks whilst waiting for the rock candy to grow? I also would like to know if the remaining syrup can be reused?

Hi there! I just placed them on a counter (at room temperature). And yes you can reuse the sugar syrup, however you will need to re-heat it and add more sugar to it (perhaps another 1/3rd of the original amount) to replace the sugar that was used to create the initial rock candy. Hope that makes sense :)

For Geode cakes should we just put sugar into the jar? It looks like that made more than the one with the sugar on the skewer?

You don't need to as long as all the sugar crystals are dissolved it will be fine :)

You're welcome! Yes you can reuse it, but you will need to heat it again and add another cup or so of sugar to it to replace the sugar that was used to create the crystals :)

Hi there! You just need to mix it until the sugar is completely dissolved - it doesn't need to boil :)

LOL! This is a common way people grow crystals and I have many times with success so definitely not lying :) perhaps you do not have enough crystals on your skewer when you first place it into the jar? If you let me know your exact process then maybe I can help you out :)
