I appreciate you and Richard talking about buyers malaise. I feel the same to the extreme I wonder if I am still collecting. The recklessness ( mea culpa) with which I bought over the boom, and the subsequent prices in the bust have made me gun shy of any future purchases, probably for a long time.

Great pick ups! You kept a low budget (except for Venus #2, but worth it) and some nice books that you needed for your collections. And I think there are at least two more volumes of those signed and numbered UK L&R books. Fun to search for!

Richard, we need to sit down and talk Dave Stevens at some point. I can't believe you didn't know about "True Love"! It's a reprint book, so not only do you get a Stevens cover, you get Vince Colletta on the inside! I have started searching for foreign printings of Stevens' work. A lot of it is much more reasonably priced, having missed the hype.

Romance is where Vinnie Colletta shined! Still the scratchy pen work but he could draw attractive women for sure! (Sadly, about 40 yrs ago, I traded off a stack of romance books including Atlas & DC, with Colletta and John Romita covers; traded for a mid-grade Strange Tales 102. Was happy at the time, but now?😕)
