Richard Evans is the best. Was in Bedrock City every Wednesday from 96 through 06. Highlight of my week for years chatting it up with Richard and his crew.

Read FF 51 evryone. Read it when it came it out. Greatest single issue Marvel of all time. IMO.

I usually find it hard to pick a favourite of anything as my tastes are always changing, but I always say Fantastic Four # 51 is my favourite comic book story. Just a perfect book.

I always wished Steranko had done more than the 2 volumes of his comics history. They really were one of the few ways to see the covers of a lot of Golden Age books back then. Plus we always relished the books pictured in the Overstreet!

I watched this entire video. I wasn't sure at first if I was ready to commit to a 32 minute + video, but I'm glad I did.

Our parents moved us to Denver in '81 and a friend and I would take the bus to one of the mile high stores in downtown. I was 14 and had never been to a comic store. It was awesome! I've always wondered what if Chuck had never sold off those Edgar Church collection until now. Over/under 100 million?

Probably way over. The action 1 alone is probably 5-10.

Nice interview...I started serious collecting around 1974 although grew up reading at start of Marvel and DC around 1962\1963. I built a nice silver \ bronze collection in 1970s and 1980s and a small stack of golden age, partnered in a comic store in mid 1980s but let go a lot of early books in 1980s and 1990s and regret letting loose some of them...used to have multiple copies of Marvels from 1963 to 1980 but have reprints of lot of them still...nice to see Steranko histories and other books as still have them. It was fun but life takes other turns...still love to see and listen to stories of early in collecting.

I could listen to these for hours too. Old guys like me that love comics. I’m trying to buy a couple of FF Omnibus (after listening to this) but they sold out! I guess I’ll have to wait another 5 years. I hope you do about 20 more of these videos this month!

Any advice on how to sell single non-key books on eBay?
@futurepastvintagecollectables Жыл бұрын
If you mean to sell books that don’t just sit there, it’s all about pricing and grading. Be the cheapest for that book if possible, have lots of pictures and assure that you ship properly.
