What’s that rope he’s holding

Starting line at Redwood Shores doesn't have stake boats, you hold onto a rope to get aligned and release just before the start.

Great cinematography. Simply stunning images, but - and I want to say this as kindly and supportively as possible - sometimes less is more when it comes to music. Great images like these don't need loud pop music to make them better, especially vocal music. Owen and Zac, I look forward to many more of your productions, but rowing is such a beautiful sport it doesn't need to be presented like a pop video. Best wishes for the rest of the season, from Australia.

I think the video is supported by the music... Calm shots of calm moments in rowing supported by calm points in the song, and racing moments supported by intense points. Captures the bliss and silence of rate 20 moments and the music kicks in with the craziness of racing, one of the best parts about the sport - the existence of both peacefulness and absolute full send that can be achieved at any one time
