Thank you! My calathea had browning curling edges, I think because she's been near a heating vent! Just placed her in the more humid bathroom instead :)

Lucia , thank you for the information , I have to tell you that i have three calathea plants , next to each other , away from the heating , i use a humidifier for them , i keep them in plates with pebles and water , , i always check the soil before i water them ,i use growlights on them for about 8 hours , 2 of them are fine , one is horribly sick , with curled leaves , what am i doing wrong ?

Great question ! Based on what I’ve read, alkaline water may be too harsh on the calatheas, but if anyone knows more comment here 💚💚
