Credit bureaus don’t track how many payments you make within a credit card cycle. So, it doesn’t matter if you pay for each purchase individually-just leave a small balance by the closing date, and you’ll be fine.

I tweaked it a bit more. I leave 9% for reporting, and then the day the statement drops, I immediately pay that remaining balance off. That crushes any interest from incurring. The following day, I go back to swiping again, and I stop swiping two days before the due date to focus on paying down the balance to that 9% again. Interest and late fees aren't the only two ways cc companies make money - they also make money off swipe fees so swiping is actually good for a change if you're that disciplined.

I can’t sleep right if my credit cards don’t have a zero balance. Sorry Not Sorry.

Scores don't matter if your have no history. Not saying you don't have history but people believe the lies that having a 800+ score gets you everything when it's false.

I don’t have the time to pay off my balances off every day. I do check my balances every few days and once I get to a certain amount I pay off my balance. Usually I don’t exceed $300 at a time before I pay off my balance.

@@yusefinc1096 not discrediting the fact that you don't have time to pay things off everyday but for me I make time. Also it doesn't take that much time anyways. For example if I'm at a store I have time walking to the car to pay it off. Or if use it for bills or anything online I'm already right there on the computer it only takes me less than two minutes to pay it off. Lastly, for certain banks I can't pay right then and there so I designate my walk to the car the time I use to pay for things that I can only pay when it posts. Not saying it's for everyone but psychologically, for me, treating it like truly a debit card where the money leaves immediately helps me stay on budget.

Cal I like to keep my balances low (usually $10) on each card I use so I pay electronically after I use it and maintain the $10 balances till, they are due.

If you’re irresponsible with money, yes you should. I personally have more cash than my total credit limit, so it is mathematically impossible for me not to pay off my statement balance each month. Not to mention I gain interest off the money for the month it remains in my account. So I get free money from cash back and free money from interest with zero risk.

This isn't true. I reported 200 dollar usage on a card with 4000 CL, and my score dropped 5 points specifically for that amount?? Why would that happen?
