When I saw a vector problem I was expecting a solution involving the vector mode. This solution is pretty clever. Although I know how any of this work, I never really thought this type of connection between the complex plane and coplaner vectors. Thanks for your insights

There is no direct feature on the fx-991CW model. You have to use the fraction hack as demonstrated in another video.

Finding the HCF is pretty simple. Let's take an example of 8 and 6. We input a fraction with the smaller number on the numerator i.e 6/8. Inputting it, the calculator gives an simplified answer 3/4. Now you divide the numerator of the input by the numerator of the answer i.e divide 6 by 3 you get an HCF of 2​@@ellisbradford5200

​Moving to find the LCM we follow the similar approach and input a fraction with the smaller number on numerator. Using the previous example, inputting 6/8 gave the simplified 3/4 as an answer. We multiply the numerator of the input by the denominator of the answer i.e multiply 6 by 4 we get the lcm of 6 ans 8 to be 24
