Calculating Terrain Ruggedness Index (TRI) in QGIS

I tried to do this in ArcGIS, may i ask is the unit of elevation suppose to be in meter? In your QGIS seem like you able to directly insert the range directly. I saw other video they divide the 80 by 1000 and times it by 30. Do you know what kind of transformation of unit is this? kzbin.info/www/bejne/mWi4doOXeZhoa8k

I'm also not sure shot on this. So you do one thing. You can select a location were the height of the mountain or hill is known to you and across check with the elevation data. Thanks
