It is all right for Dr. Sandip Chatterjee to talk about failed federalism and more subjects in the central list. But the present CM of West Bengal is deliberately following the path of confrontation with the Central Government. The CM of West Bengal is not fighting the Lok Sabha elections in the proper way. Why should her goons be encouraged to stop willing voters from voting because Mamata thinks that will not vote for TMC? Also why bombs should be thrown by TMC goons at polling booths which Mamata thinks are not going in favour of TMC?. Also why there is booth-capturing by TMC goons? So, Dr. Chatterjee, first request TMC & Mamata to conduct absolutely peaceful polling during elections and don't let loose TMC goons on polling days.

Dr Chatterjee unquestionably speaks well. However his reference to 'mother in law' and 'daughter in law' skirmishes/ fall outs is too naive and too essentialist to sum up the federal structure of India.
