To be fair...Jester would have been in a panic due to her Sendings not working for some time, so it's fitting that she'd be a little more concerned about getting the message through rather than using up all of her words.

I love the idea that Jester is so excited she can Message people again she is just burning all her spell slots to talk to people Just uses a 6th level slot to go “Mmmmmm” 😂

Does Sending work if you dont know the person? I thought you had to be acquainted with the other person. My head cannon based off RAW is that there had to be some sort of bond, even if its just as acquaintances, to make the spell connect two people. Did I misunderstand the Sending spell or did Matt deviate a bit from RAW (which is fine, Im not a rules lawyer, if it works for his narrative it works)

I might not be completely correct, but I believe you only need to know who they are/be familiar with them. So Caleb likely would have disguised self in order for jester to see who she was sending to

i'm pretty sure the implication of Caleb immediately getting Jester to send a message to Imogen is that most if not every member of the M9 have stayed together since the last oneshot, (which makes my heart hurt) and so he can just turn to her and go 'hey jester, i just got a fucking message from a group Beau and I worked with in Marquet, can you message who i assumed their leader was?' and then like, yeah makes an illusion of Imogen or someshit.

He's been a little loosey-goosey with this since C2. Generally you have to be "familiar" with the person you're sending to, so whatever you view as familiar enough I guess. He's been okay with just explaining the person's appearance to Jester and that being enough before. Like how she was able to send to Beaus dad, Yeza, and Dairon before Jester herself met them. (I've been rewatching campaign 2 lol)
