Man Dre brought out a different side of Caleb in this one. I can understand big time my stepdad was a dope head and an alcoholic and moms was just trying to survive. The boxing gym didnt get me to the pros but it got me to college.

Caleb Plant is the definition of a real person. To get through everything he went through in his childhood and his daughter to become a world champion you have to respect him as a man. Also in his boxing career he never ducked anyone in his career and always comes to fight. God bless this brother and his family great interview from Andre Ward.

One of the best boxing interviews in a long time. Props to Dre for preparing & asking and responding hard questions and major props to Caleb for being so open and transparent! Been a huge fan of his for years now and I’m an even bigger fan now!!

Andre does a fine job at asking the hard questions. He approaches subjects that most would avoid or would pussyfoot around. He doesn’t come off rude or condescending and I feel he gets the most honest and real answer that an audience can ask for. I don’t think the guests try to bullshit him or pretend to be more than they are, who he is and the way he carry’s himself demands too much respect. With exception to Deven Haney. I feel like Deven Haney doesn’t know how to be a real and honest person no matter who he’s talking too. But thank you Andre and thank you Caleb. Great interview.
@straightwhiteman75242 ай бұрын
Yet he still stood his ground with Haney on Ryan taking ostarine for weight cut reasons, not as performance enhancers. Thats why i fuck with Andre, he doesnt sugar coat just for the interview.

@Pablo-ig7txАй бұрын
Of course, he is emotional, that's his family. Had he break down in tears he would not have been > , loosing a child and his own mom that's beyond imaginable. My mom still has My Twin's ashes at home with us , i grew up knowing they were there. My genitor was not here to raised me and my brothers, a huge part of our upbringing was made by our Grandma and mom. But i am already going everywhere with my comment. To cry is perfectly fine, i hope Caleb have support, his wife seem to be exceptionnal and comprehensive

Beautifully done per usual Dre. I think I speak for most people I’m saying that. I’m familiar with his story a bit from the Pivot when he went on there before his fight with Benavidez or Canelo, can’t remember. His story is incredible-perseverance-determination-faith. I think most people got caught up with the antics at fights and totally misconstrued who he is and it’s dope you gave him the platform to “allow him to reintroduce himself..his name is Caleb Plant.” Keep doing great work fam. Peace. -Sammy

Caleb is my favorite boxer because i'm from rural west virginia and grew up in a similar fashion, everyone around you hopped up on drugs wasting their life away wanting to take your dreams away from you. The military got me out of it but his story is just incredible what he's had to fight through, something about the struggle builds character like no other. Caleb is a prime example of a grown ass man.

Social media has created an environment for dumba*s and random idiots to make disrespectful comments about fighters that they don’t know. I learned a lot about Caleb from this interview. Dre is doing his thing but we all could see this seamless transition from a fighter to this space. Respect to both champions.

Andre Ward - Can you interview Paul the Punisher Williams. One of the great fighters which was on the road to become a Boxing HOF, and you could make an argument that he deserves. Paul Williams does not get enough love and attention from the boxing world, and the man did great things in the sport, and deserves to be interviewed by someone like you. Outside the loss to Maravilla, he always put on a show and deserves to have his life inside the ring and out be highlighted. Please, I have this strong conviction from the LORD that P.W needs to be lifted. Beat HOF'er Winky Wright, beat Marvilla in the first match, beat guys like Margarito, Cintron, and current champ E. Lara. Boxing Community, lets make sure we get this message to The S.O.G get this message. This was a great interview, loved it! HUGE fan!
