How come you can only set your shutter to 1 second in the regular mode? I know in the long shutter mode you can have a 30 second shutter and bulb, but that mode removes the ability to change ISO, WB etc. Could you pleeease put longer exposures in the normal mode!

big shouts to the moment team .. i think i’ve been around from the start of this thing and you guys stayed true to the indie start up mentality of bringing fresh gear and ideas to the creative masses. And seeing where the Moment app has come from its original start - its mind blowing. Since the legit public infancy of this app.. you guys’ are still implementing more and more .. and it makes me feel more ashamed i don’t take more advantage especially with all the gear i have. Thanks for your video, I have an Iphone 11 Pro Max 256GB and bought your app. Problem is (and you mentioned) that with the wide angle cam is noisy. I do hardware reviews and no matter the lights i still have noise, and this happens with normal camera and yours also. Can you help me ?

Only thing I would love you to get into is how to do astro photography on the app and maybe extend your shutter speeds even more to do this. Have the Moment camera app for iOS on an iPhone 11 Pro. But why can't I lock the shutter speed when I move the slider to adjust the exposure compensation? Seems after I lock the shutter speed, it reverts back to automatic when I slide up to adjust the EV. Am I not locking it correctly? Or can you only have one item locked at a time? Suggestion: make a setting to LOCK the shutter speed to 180-degrees no matter what any other setting is set to. That way you can be assured you're shooting at the proper shutter speed.

So I bought this app because it said you could apply desqueeze to files directly in the app when using an anamorphic lens…but what it didn’t say is VIDEO ONLY! I Have tried and tried to take anamorphic stills and i can’t get it to apply desqueeze to my still images. I just want to be able to desqueeze pics without having to go to a desktop. Am I missing something in the app settings?

Hi, great app, love it and already purchased. I hve 1 problem, after setting up shutter speed or iso, i see the live preview of the exposure on my screen (my iphone) and it is OK. The photo then is saved on my camera roll.. but after a momment, the exposure of the photo is changed (usually darker). What do i do wrong? How can we setting up shutter speed or iso when we cant be sure that the live preview is the correct exposeure? Please reply. Regards, from indonesia.

The problem is that the iPhone camera has a tiny sensor, so it's really just a snapshot camera, like a Kodak Instamatic of yore. If you want DSLR/ mirrorless camera quality and control, you really need a DSLR/ mirrorless camera, APS-C or full frame.

Hmm, I was on board until 2:45. Apparently my poorly calibrated eye thinks the native pic is much better than the app's version of a similar setting. Also, a very brief trial period would go a long way... 6$ for me is borderline to high for impulse buying. My two cents.

I have an idea what else you could do. I don't think there is a focus puller for mobile phones yet. I could imagine it in such a way that you can put the different modes on it for example for the focus or for the aperture. Feedback would be nice if something like that would be possible thanks a lot.

Would love a timelapse option on the app. Would be awesome if this timelapse feature could capture in RAW. I don't mean a RAW video format although that would be nice, but I mean RAW stills. This should be possible even though that would require additional post production steps on the user to grade and and combine the RAW stills into a video format. But any timelapse feature would be a great addition.

Loving the efficiency and polish of using the Moment app with my iPhone 11. The only significant issue I’ve notice thus far, is that the fluid software stabilization of the native iPhone camera application, seems to missing on the Moment app (even with stabilization turned on within the settings). Will there be any fix/update to this?

This app or filmic pro? My iphone X struggles when shooting in filmic extreme, 4K 24fps which makes it unusable. Does this app wouldn’t have the same issue? What about Log picture profile? Does moment have it? Thanks!

Rodney Evangelio not sure how the app would make it easier to handle besides making the image worse. Filmic pro is basically officially the best filmmaking camera app. While the moment app is good and has features to work with the lenses. The big thing with the moment app it’s probably the best free camera app. Only filmic pro is a little better.

@@AL-lh2ht Moment app is actually not free. Might be free before but checking it now, it's not even free. I paid for Filmic pro and even paid for the log picture profile. So I guess it's better to not bother by this moment app. The only problem with the filmic pro is when shooting in 4k and filmic extreme bitrate, my iphone x stars to lag.
