I remember Caleb as a freshman at OU (Boomer!), and being astounded at his talent. He has just about everything you’d want from a top tier QB, and hopefully he gets good coaching to minimize his negatives. I really think he’s going to do great things in the NFL.

Is one of his weaknesses leading a receiver open? Like throwing to a spot? I believe that's what some of the scouts said. Maybe because of his accuracy he rarely had to. Also that he needs to use the middle of the field more.

Its mind blowing to think that just a year ago the Bears had the first pick and they traded it to a team that would give them the first pick the following year. Thats lottery stuff.

How many times have we heard this about QBs? The one unpredictable is can a QB take ridicule from the fans. Can he handle being booed in his own stadium by his own fans. If playing QB in the pros was ONLY about physical capabilities, each team would have the SAME QB for 15 years. Playing QB in the NFL is ALOT more about what is between the ears.

@@AllDay3004 agreed; he definitely should have been able to stop a 3-man rush from running all over his front 5. i mean, qbs who have a horrendous o-line should be able to pass for 600 yards and 10 tds with round 2-5 wr talent, am i right? and he also should have played defense, since that would've prevented sc from allowing almost 35 points a game. yeah, should have also kicked field goals to lead special teams too. boo caleb!

Please don't overhype this guy. They hyped Josh Rosen, Teddy Bridgewater, Mitch Trubisky, Carson Wentz, Jameis Winston. Caleb has potential but there's always a chance that he doesn't meet expectations. The one thing going for him is that he put up impressive numbers with a mediocre receiving core. And his O-line and defense did not help him. I wish him the best, but heed with caution before hyping someone as the next big thing.
