Bro throws the ball so effortlessly. Something I felt Justin could never do. It felt like Justin always had to use so much force just to get the ball in motion. Caleb just releases it so fast like Rodgers. No extra wasted movement.

The short passes EVERY QB completes in shorts, without any pressure. The long balls otoh (some) were off, short or overthrown. And the "cannon" CW never displayed (unlike Milton). Why? How can you tell. I could complete a pass with no one chasing me. Probably a very short pass since I am 78. He was short on several passes and overthrew a few. The receivers had to stop and wait on several passes.

Watched the All -22 ucla tape last night. I hope I’m wrong but this kid sucks. Horrible footwork, throws a bad deep ball. No trajectory or ach, wobbly, Not 1 in the bucket or back shoulder throw. As a die hard bear fan this feels like 1984 where the bears made it to the NFC championship game vs the niners and got are ass kicked.9er fans where saying bring your offense next time.The next year we did bring our offense week 6 up in candlestick park we beat the niners up sacked Montana 7 times Payton ran wild for 137 yards and a TD.Thats when you new it was going to be special.This feels just like it a QB that can sling it and read a defense.This year is going to be lit and I can't wait and I'll be there in person for that home opener soldier field will be rocking baby

Sorry, I like Micheal Penix better..... I am unhappy with how CW handled the entire process, not playing in the bowl game, not playing in the senior bowl, and not communicating or engaging in the combined process. Sorry, he is not much of a standout to shut down when information is needed. I watched CW in college, he had one good year so don't believe the hype the media is telling everyone. When put under pressure he is a different dude you will see how much his skillset transfers to the NFL.

Big SC fan here. Caleb is great, but he will need to speed up in the NFL... he won't have 5-6 seconds of time to release the football. More like 3-4 seconds, and the defensive linemen are faster.

Seems like his throws are late on several of these...receivers waiting on the ball turning back towards him to catch it...slowing down... rather than in stride. Not much zip on the ball, lots of loft (pick 6 balls). I'm sure he'll be great in the NFL but I expected better from a scripted routine.

I remember watching an episode of Sanford & Son. This was the episode when Lamont was talking Karate lessons and Lamont ask the instructor to show Grady something to show that he knows what he’s doing. The instructor demonstrated some fast punches and kicks, and Grady said “anyone can beat up the air”. How is this going to show that this guy can actually play NFL football. 😮 He looks like a high school QB out there.

Reason they’re similar is their frame and play style imo, Caleb isn’t a burner as a runner and neither is Dak either but they’re capable there. Both are inconsistent throwing deep too

Pro Days are a waste. It is unrealistic. No OL all in his face. No defenders locking down his receivers. They all look good just throwing. Zach Wilson, Trey Lance and Bryce Young looked really good at their pro days
