Thanks, great guide, I managed to send the videos with ma vpu inside the "primitive" forms of MA3D, I just don't understand why the videos always arrived at the resolution of 192x108 and the framerate never exceeds 13

hi, thanks for the video, i managed to get it working and i enjoy it. However, I have a problem: if I use only one layer the video works well but if I use two or more layers creating the preset for the subdivision of the source, the image jerks. what could i do to fix this? Thank you

Hey, sorry it took a year to see this. It’s probably because of your processor, if you divide the load between 2 computers it will work better. Hope this helps.

I have a question? Can it work without commandwing and without ma node (without any kind of MA hardware), running maVpu, ma2 and ma3d on one pc? Thanks!

It depends on the media server. If it’s MA VPU, you do not need parameters or MA hardware. If your using any other media server, you do need MA hardware. You also cannot run MAVPU generating the CITP, and MA3D receiving the CITP, on one PC. You have to have 2 PC’s. (Although I did manage to get a Cybernet with 2 Ethernet ports to talk to itself for about a minute, once, and never again). That said, if you need resources during this Covid 19 period, many shops are willing to mail a node or other resources to you to borrow and learn if you ask. I myself am getting a borrowed MA3 node soon to play with.

I was actually able to get it to work over usb to etherent NIC’s.. the weird issue was I would chose an image and put the fixture at full.. got nothing. then if I turned the dimmer encoder down from full the image snapped on. tried it several times and it works the same each time. weird bug but it works.

@@CalebHoernschemeyer neither one of my laptops has an ethernet port. I only have usb/ethernet NIC's. it's too bad there isn't some kind of workaround...

Why are u using a layer for each strip? Wouldn't it be easier especially for the setup to use One Content Layer and 5 cameras?
@CalebHoernschemeyer5 жыл бұрын
I haven't thought of that. I'll absolutely have to give that a shot! Thanks!

hello, would you be kind to explain to me better? I configured video in 1 out of 5 strips, I was able to distribute the source evenly over the 5 strips, but the final result creates problems because the image jerks on the viewer. it seems that sending a source on 5 layers in the artnet strains the system. is there an alternative?
