Another method to solve last question.. from 10th jan 2013 to 10th jan 2014 total 365 days.. so 365/7 rem=1 Same for 2015& 2016 rem=1 each.. from 10th jan 2016 to 10th jan 2017, 366 days. So 366/7, remainder=2, for year 2017-jan 2018 rem=1.. so tatal values of remainders till 10th jan 2018=6.. Now from 10th jan 2018 to 1st march 2018, days in between=21+28+1=50 So 50/7, remainder=1.. so total value of ramainder =6+1=7.. i.e. Thursday+7= Thursday on 1st march..

In the last type of questions, You have only checked years and gave them a no. And only based on that you add their sum to that day 10th January ( Thursday) and gave ans of 1 march , But i want to ask you if we have to calculate it for 2nd march the answer will be same according to your method. Pls check if i am incorrect 😊 It seems there is no role of the day we are calculating for 😅

In the last question (from 12:00 to the end) why there is no significance for required date and month? You have just gone for the years calculation and you added +1 for the last year so that count became 7 and added that 7 to the Thursday..so my question is ..if there was other than March 1st assume it to some March 16 or 17th then there will be the same calculation like u did for March 1st i.e., u will add 7 only to the Thursday..Then, how far this trick is correct for different dates and months of the same year as there is calculation of +1 or +2 is doing for years only?

Thanks for the video Imran. The logic is as below and can be applied easily.. If the date January 1st, of an year begins with a day x, and the year is a non-leap year, then the January 1st, of next year will begin with the day x+1. Similarly if the year is a leap year, the January of next year will begin with the day x+2

Since month is Jan, we will not consider 1996 as general year (Feb se pehle hai karke) so it'll be 0 Count 1 after sunday = monday

Sir in the last sum, if the date is 2nd of Jan instead of 1st Jan, the day should be Friday, but according to your method, we get the answer as Thursday itself... Hence I believe this method needs a few modifications...

In last example answer should be Saturday . By your method, 10th Jan 2018 will be Thursday but not necessarily 1st March 2018. You have to add no. of days after 10th Jan till 1st March and then divide by 7. Add remainder to Thursday. The answer is Saturday

No. You won't add 7 to Thursday bcz you are counting till 10 jan only. So feb is not counted. So add 6 to Thursday. It comes Wednesday. Then count the remaining days. 31-10+28+1=50÷7=1. Wed+1= Thursday. Answer of sir is correct.

respected sir..the video is very nice...but a small doubt....in the second last question it was given that month and date was same i.e 1st january just the years were different but the next question had 1st january 2013 and 1st march 2018..diffferent date and month....so the answer that we got as THURSDAY was the day on 1st january 2018 ..after that we should have done the sum of all the days till 1st march divided by 7 to get the answer...
