Hi Adam, thanks for the follow up! One thing though, I think you would have to apply exactly 5.00V to calibrate the voltmeter. Thanks again for your excellent videos.

Adam I just got one of the testers in the video that looks similar but has major changes to components on the board. It has a Model J7-f. If you wound like a couple of photo email me.

Hello If the propeller of the ventilator has an unbalance, then I take small pieces ducktape, about 4mm x 8 mm large. These are glued to the front of the propeller, but in such a way that they can be removed with a tweezers. It may be necessary to apply several of these small adhesive strips to different sites. With a load of about 1 amp at 19 volts, there will be a window of about 10-15 seconds until the fan starts again. During this time you can use a pair of tweezers to reposition the adhesive strips until the desired result is obtained. In the ideal case, the imbalance is not much to be felt. If the right spots are found, you can use a very small amount of adhesive (cyanacrylate) around the edges of the adhesive strips to fix the adhesive strips. The attachment of the adhesive strips can be made without the need to remove the protective grid. Then allow the adhesive to dry, so that no residues of liquid glue can fly around in the ventilator. Before using the load, check if the glue has cured. I hope my suggestion likes one or the other :-) Best greetings

OMG Thanks for the video. I have had this thing since it first came out and the voltage has been wrong the whole time. Amps is good, but volts is way off.

+Adonis cmj Yeah the voltage can crash if it's loaded too high. Mobile phones tend to be much more picky about the power that is going in - which is another reason I guess why I think it's best to charge a power bank and then charge your phone. In my experience power banks are far less picky about a fluctuating input.

I honestly don't understand why you would need a dummy usb load someone please tell me what you would use this for

+InspireAndInnovative Testing power supplies and power banks would be the normal use. Can they supply what they claim? This one also allows you to test different cables to find which one will supply the highest charge to your device.

Yea, but unfortunately it doesn't do a very good job at that. It takes power from the bank it is testing for it's screen, fan and circuits, so you have some loss there and it is difficult to factor that in. I wish they had made one that can be powered by a plug in power adapter so that it can measure power more accurately. I am not sure how much loss there is, but when the fan is buzzing fast I can only wonder.

LOL - you calibrate to a Portapow, which is hardly a "accurate" device.
