This has got to be their funniest stick fight this season!! First they "tango" for control of the stick, Jackie wins of course and Shadow quietly sits off to the side thinking "good luck with that, honey". he gives her side eye 3:12, hysterical! When Jackie starts to look irritated, she gets Shadow involved again and they get beaky with each other! Like a squabbling married couple 😆🦅🦅♥♥

Phew! I'm tired after watching those two and the branch! Jackie knows what she wants and goes after it; Shadow is lucky that she chose him!! After seeing her hover off the tree and land with great ease that is something I will never forget Thank you God for creating raptors, you must have really enjoyed doing so. Every time I see a photo or video of someone holding a Bald Eagle (Bird Rescue etc ) I am reminded of the size of these birds. The camera here shows us a lot but doesn’t depict the actual size of these incredible creatures.

Read that females which are larger can measure 3-1/2 feet with wingspan of 8 feet. Nests being 5 feet wide. Yeah we have nothing near them up there for comparison. And that tree is tremendously tall. Saw a guy climb it to fix the cameras and it was amazing. He sat in the nest needing only one corner as it stretched around him.

The Southwest Florida Eagles have a lot of fluff in their nest and two wonderful babies that they’re feeding every day. These two can’t seem to get their act together. They messed around with a pine cone for a month.
