How far away is a doctor and hospital? I love this area, but access to healthcare is a priority.

There is a really good Doctors surgery with both Spanish and English Doctors just 3 mins drive and the main hospital is in Huercal Overa which is 15 min. Drive .

Yes yr right docters fercilities. Think this village is over the mountain road Lived in arboleas for many years. Have to take a interpreter with u when u go to see docters b/c they don't speak or won't speak English .

Not sure how long ago you lived here but very good English speaking GP in Arboleas medical centre. Fair point when. You go to hospital it's a good idea to take a translator if you don't speak Spanish as any non English speaking person would have to at any UK hospital or GP's. We are very fortunate in Arboleas In that we have banks small shops gyms, town hall, chemist all with English speakers. I wonder how many UK banks or chemists small shops I could walk into and get help if I only spoke Spanish.

Yes know area verry well. Lived at no5 Avenida almanzor .bought our house in 2007.came back in 2012. I think the guy in charge of town hall got put away.for moving the boundary building line. Many of my friends in There had no licences for there build.so couldn't sell there home. My wife verry I'll out there .had to come home.she died 4 weeks after .we returned. But had some good memories

Yes god bless her.my house was nice. Only sold it because she want to die at home.realy love the village. Both my next door neighbours friends assed away soon after they came home. Hi ave built myself a lovely house in now here.in a small village In Hertfordshire . But miss it all Roy

And no protection for cars. WHO builds 4 bed without covered parking for 3 cars (2 for residents, one for staff)?
