I’ll never understand why people just come and pick apart everything Smoed does. Since when was getting third at NCA a bad result? Especially with three falls... Does no one remember that they got 9th at NCA in 2018? BSB is killing it. That’s undeniable. They’re easily one of the best teams in the world right now, but guess what? You can be happy for BSB without tearing Smoed down, it’s really not hard. And just for some perspective, on both days, BSB’s raw score was 1.1 points higher than Smoed’s. Ya’ll are out here acting like there’s a ten point difference.

Also they could have made it up by upgrading and working technique (and consistence) if smoed put in the work it definitely could have been close at worlds if Covid did not happen.

This was a few days to a week after Maleiya and Sam were in a very rough car accident. They were driving to practice in heavy rain hydroplaned and got T-Boned on Maleiya's(passenger) side of Sam's car. I commend them both for getting on the floor so soon after the accident.

with the amount of drilling this team does i was shocked to see timing for tumbling was so off. if it wasn’t for timing issues and big stunt bobbles it would’ve been a very solid performance

I kind of disagree because there is no part it this routine when people are just standing around. There’s so much to look at. But that’s just my opinion. I feel like they have such a difficult routine that they can’t hit it all at once :)

The routine isn’t boring; it’s just not as clean as Brandon, so it’s not as visually appealing. And the black bottoms with the black floor didn’t do them any favors.

At the beginning of the season they had this amazing stunt/elite section that looked amazing! But then it was changed because stunt groups were just not working hard to keep up with the skills, so they literally had to waterdown skills because athletes couldnt keep up stunts for the whole routine.

i am not a major fan if SMOED. i’m not saying their horrible, their team is filled with amazingly talented athletes! it’s just their routine is almost the same every year. i feel they’re kind of basic in my opinion. i’m not a hater! don’t take this for offense it’s just my opinion and i know other people might feel the same!!🤍

Okay so I have been watching this for 10 times and I see they added many things that doesn't count as a point in difficulty like 1.) 0:47 to 0:49 (the dismount that flyers did except the kick double) that only added to the creativity/over all performance I think it only added 0.1 or 0.5 points 2.) 1:00 the girl who did a front walk that's considered as no points since that skill is not elite level and only if the handstands hit on extend and not on prep they could have got higher points.
