You can buy a pack of 40 1/4 pounder patties, ice berg lettuce, hot house tomatoes, ketchup, mustard, a small jar of pickle slices, sweet onions, and a loaf store brand bread, for about $66 dollars without doing any savings, sales, or coupons (where I am) right now. Burgers like that at Dairy Queen are about 4-5 dollars per sandwich. Plus a 20 pound bag of russet potatoes to make your own fries for $22. Total of $88. 40 x 4 - 5 = $160 - $200. So yeah, you can save $72 to $112 ($92 to 132 w/o fries) just cooking it yourself, and unless you eat it every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, it will take awhile for it all to go away. Cook your own food. It's cheaper, and better.

And what does the fast food worker get for a job that doesnt require special training or scertifications? 20 per hour? Quick math!: 40*20= 800 bucks in a week and a month usually has 4 weeks now 800 times 4 makes 3200$ per month. ... What the fuck! That are waages you get in pharma production as a trade worker or in big name firms like Mercedes or Porsche! But not at McDonalds or Burger King! It’s a vicious cycle Commiefornia has got itself in. Raising taxes = raising prices. Raising minimum wage = raising prices. The Left-Wing think business = unlimited money but in reality a lot of the money made by these businesses go onto paying taxes, paying utility bills, paying rent on the property/land, paying for legalities to operate the business, paying staff their wages, paying suppliers of to keep their business stocked while their wholesaler is also covering its own costs to function AND whatever money is leftover usually goes out on maintenance or expanding the business. Then these Left-Wingers wonder why the places they work and hang out get shutdown when inflation hits BUT they only have the intelligence of a perpetual child who thinks money grows on trees and electricity comes out of the wall because of Hogwarts.

And paying dividends to investors, and paying a CEO 250k a year, and giving CEOs that leave a 400k golden parachute, and paying a team of HR executive level wages to create problems, and paying diversity hires in management, and paying executives 6 figure wages to do not much at all.
