I love how this movie is not at all about the plot, nor the characters but mainly about the time and the setting. "Hollywood in the 60s" is a much bigger character and is telling a much bigger story in the background than any of the characters portrayed in the film. And the best is the ending, because while it creates an alternative, imaginative happy version, somehow it still makes you think and remember what actually happened in reality. This movie is like a deceiving dream that you know in reality was a nightmare. Is almost like a ghost story told like a fantasy dream. Tarantino created something beautiful and really deep with this film.

I'm almost 70 now and watching this movie makes me realize how fast time goes by and our youth is past us before we even realize it is gone. The days are long but the years are short. Make them count for something while you can.

I am 70 and I grew up there in Hollywood, class of 70 Hollywood High. I know where every scene was shot and it brought back many memories. It was a fun time for me and it was gone before I knew it. My advice is don't worry so much and take more photos.

This is the second movie where the skin tones were so incredible I had to stop it and get a closer look. Both Girl with a pearl earring and once upon a time were shot on film, kodak vision 3 5219 500T and 5213 200T. I am a portrait photographer and have now located this film on 35mm camera cassettes and labs that will develop it. Tarantino inspired me to try it in my work

Вы знаете, когда смотрел фильм, все время сидела мысль: ну неужели обойдется Тарантино без нее? Не, не смог) Хоть и не в этом варианте. @@thestelivali Oh gosh, thank you. I haven't played video games in almost 20 years so the last one I ever played was Vice City for PC. I like that because there was a lot more I could do with customization and cheat codes/trainers. Actually I think I bought a PlayStation2 back around 2009, and I played CoD and GTA IV for a while, but that's it. Haven't kept up on the gaming world since then.
