zerosiii totally agree. They are the new prodigees. And I guess it has much to do with the internet and particularly youtube. Because never before had a generation so much possibility to study other musicians by watching them play whilst these are explaining many important things in great detail plus many extra tipps to save time and effort. Never before had a generation so much technical help and this speeds up the development of new talents greatly like: slowing down the video, pausing it at the exact second, moving the slide controler back and forth whilst seeing in the preview image what one searches, watching the video in high definition, douple tip on the screen to go back and forth in 10 second steps and many more things. And another essential ingredient to become a good musician (possibly the most important) is inspiration. And here the internet and particularly youtube is a source which provides one with endless much inspiration and generally for free, more than one can compute in a lifetime. In former times you had to buy an lp or cassette or cd. So these new generations can come into contact with their idols in a way that wasn't possible just a few decades before. If andy mckee is your idol you can watch his fingers in great detail and most musicians do tutorials as well where they explain their tricks. And if you have a technical difficulty that you can't solve, you can ask others to help you and in some cases the reply comes in a few seconds or in the next few days. In former times if you wanted to play a certain song and you didn't know how to do that you had to go in a music store to buy a songbook where your desired song was in. But nowadays you go to a webside like tabs.ultimate-guitar.com, type in the song you're looking for and immediately the programme gives out the song with the chords you want to learn. With other words the technical evolution and evolution in general is at a point in history where we can expect that prodigees like sungha jung pop up out of nowhere to demonstrate something new that was never before seen like alexandr misco also.

Genio. You're the best of the best. You're style is impossible to copy by anyone. You're just above anyone else. The most versatile and the best fingerstyle guitarist I know. I have respect for tommy emmanuel, but what you do on just six strings is just out of this world.
@zerosiii5 жыл бұрын
Right??? Exactly, Tommy is one of the greats, but what Naudo pulls is out of this world. It's great that we can witness the likes of Tommy and Naudo today. Also some of these new "kids" are awesome as well, like Sungha Jung and Alexandr Misko
@ireneuszzagrodzki67575 жыл бұрын
I also have respect for Thommy Emmanuel , but Naudo is The Only. Naudo schows the very Music, Tommy schows only himself, his technique. This is for me The simplest comparison between Thommy and Naudo.
