We build our houses from brick and stone in England. A lesson was learned from the great fire of London back in 1666. Wood burns, stone does not. my house is built entirely of brick and reinforced concrete, all the houses that stand there are made of paper and thin boards, I am not surprised that nothing is left of the houses, have you not noticed that the further we go into the future the more we pay for everything and we get products of lower durability and quality? Besides, building a house next to a house is a recipe for disaster, a chain effect, my house is far from the others and there is paving around it which separates the vegetation from the house, I think that with such a project many houses would survive

Trees contain a lot of water, houses don't and if they're covered with flammable roof tiles and plastic gutters they'll go up like firelighters. I can't understand why people who have million dollar houses in an area known for fires would make sure they were highly flammable or at very least don't have a way of running a personal firefighting system from their pools.
