Suzy, the funniest part about watching your videos is seeing how fast you reel in every fish!! If you reeled in any faster your reel would start smoking lol!! Between the pole tip shaking violently to the speed reeling, it's hysterical to watch. Slow it way way down and enjoy playing the fish. You'll end up losing fewer fish and the fight is the most fun. Why rush it?? Keep up the funny videos!!

Haha I know, I am still learning how to reel in slow, I get so excited and go fast! I look back at these videos and I crack up at how I look and what I say, you would think I'm reeling in a 50 pound fish instead of a 1 pounder 🤣 I had no idea I would love fishing so much. I guess it's in my blood and I have lady luck on my side. I am relentless, sometimes I'll have 1 pole out and I'll throw another pole to jig just to up my chances till my arm gets tired. I think that's why the guys are ok that I tag along since I enjoy it so much (it's always been a guys trip for 40 years), when I have talked to other women or girlfriends/wives, they say they found it boring, I tell them, no it's not, it's really fun, and even when you don't catch any, it's still beautiful and relaxing too! 2 years in a row, I asked Alex for my birthday to take me fishing at a local place, unfortunately we didn't catch anything, but my license was still good and it was still a fun thing to do! Quality inn in mammoth has a real good breakfast. Sausage. Biscuits. Folded eggs. Waffles. Fruits. Cookies bagels. . Very good.

I've never been up there, but hear it's super nice and now you're making me hungry, lol. I love when Hotels/Motels go the extra mile to provide breakfast, saves time instead of venturing out, we can take bites and sips while we are packing for our day. Do you like to ski in Mammoth too?

Hope you have so much fun! Wish we could be there now! I'm not sure about the fishing rules right now, you'll need to ask, i know there are some requirements in certain areas right now like being barbless or only catch and release, so make sure to find out. Maybe you can call the local chamber of commerce. I'm not sure if CA Fishing Wildlife will pick up this time of year or maybe stop by a tackle shop, like Reagans. They give great advice and have a ton of great supplies we like to frequent there. Well, have fun and good luck!
