I was at TJMaxx,Natomas CA, paying at the register when a man casually walked out with probably 10 huge size purses like nothing. The lady at the register told her coworker look, nodded her chin in his direction and they went about their business like another day. She said “I would be fired if I say anything to him”. As an African American man born in the 1950s, I am disgusted and embarrassed. After fighting slavery for 400 years and, 100 years of societal discrimination our ancestors must be crying in their graves. Was all of the blood sacrificed for freedom and civil human liberties lost for this? I learned a lesson a long time ago as an child, no one will respect you until you learn to respect yourself.

The reality is we don’t see other ethnic groups behaving like members of certain ethnic groups. He'll clear 5 to 10 grand easy if he gets even a fraction of what they're worth. That was at least 40 phones, averaging at least 800 each, its probably over 1000 really but im being conservative. Thats 32 grand. If gets 25% their value thats 8000. He probably knows a fence who will sell the screens and other parts online. Ive also heard of people who can "hack" the phones and give them a different imei, but that could be bs. That's quite the payday with minimal risk in a city like San Francisco. No wonder they dont like to work.
