You're likely gravely mistaken while its true California is a blue state due to the enclave of democratic votes in San Francisco and Los Angeles the majority of the rest of the state is mostly Republican as the GOP candidates got well over 50% of the total numbers of votes in nearly all of the primaries last night. The Republican even swept all four countywide seats in San Diego as well. Along with the fact now that Cox is on the ballot he may not be able to spike up enough turnout to beat Newsom in the general but he can most certainly do so for all of the other Republicans in these congressional races for their districts. Doesn't seem like a blue wave to me.
