Hundreds more like me didn't even get a chance to file in the lawsuit because too busy surviving. I didn't even hear about it untill days before the cut off, but my truck was broke and could get down to chico to file. I heard alot of people didn't even get settlement money, but instead had to invest in pge stocks. Pge has created massive fuel loads in the area by cutting down trees, but not removing them. Instead they tell us we have to pay to have all the downed trees removed from our properties.

I would have gladly voted YES on the recall if California had a reasonable recall format. I am not going to vote out a governor who got 60+% of the vote to be replaced by a Trumpist who might get 20% of the vote. California recall processes need to be recalled. First, increase the number of signatures need to have a recall. How about a YES/NO to recall but also take the top three vote winners and have a runoff election? Something, anything would be better than our current system.

Satellite images show laser beams starting those fires. Fires are normally 700 800 degrees these new fire storms are 1500 degrees. Because of the chem trails putting Barium and Aluminum and God knows what alse in the air. Literally a home burnt to the ground in the middle of trees. No trees burnt. Ant the house had a tile roof !

They hit every fear-based issue by evoking the name of Trump, anti-vaxxers, Jan 6th insurrectionists, and said the Right would change all the policies in place, Including the mask mandates. You have to fight each accusation with facts. I didn't hear that much from the contenders in the public square where this fight needed to be fought. As someone who voted for the recall, I knew it wouldn't pass because it was too short a time frame to counter the fear mongering to get to the Many one/two-issue, low-information voters who consider themselves better educated than the Right, but live in constant fear of Covid and Conservatives, as taught for most of their lives. However, it's perfect for information gathering to get a picture of what people need to understand to vote these horrible politicians out. This is what needs to be the focus from now until the next election. What can be done Now is to start addressing Those Issues for the next 1.5 years to beat Newsome in the upcoming election. It's as simple as that. Stories like this will help with that

If it were ANY individual charged with such felonious incompetence and negligence, at the very least we’d lose our right to do business( because we’d be in prison!) let alone the fact of it is, corporations are above the law because of their copious amounts of funds they have generated from their monopoly in the electric and gas market. You should also investigate the states negligence and mismanagement of the forest. In my opinion, the reality is that if the fire started for some other reason, like a lightning strike or car accident, it would have been just as devastating due to the amount of dry brush and fuel that was built up in the area. We have had power lines for decades before these large-scale wildfires. Overhead power lines have been a constant for decades. Forest management, or lack there of, seems to be the variable that has changed in recent history and reached a threshold that now results in catastrophic wildfires.
