Social workers are over-worked and stressed out. I know. My sons mother and I went to one for years and they had to deal with baby mama drama EVERY single visit. Lies. Deceit. Deception. My sons mother lied all the time about me not dropping my son off and allegations of abuse which were unfounded. They aren’t mind readers and sometimes they make mistakes. The entire Family Law system needs to be funded properly and overhauled. Otherwise, we will get more cases like this.

They didn’t, they interviewed them the day they dedicated the tree as a memorial to Piqui. It took place after the trial, no where near the time of the funeral

The message they gave this mom and all moms is that physical and emotional violence/abuse is good and acceptable. What everyone should know is that these are precursors to other types of abuse and violent behaviors. And no, no type of heinous act is ever ok. CPS deserves a continuous kick in the butt for this. I initially thought they should have subjected both parties to drug tests but the end reveals much worse.

Child services needs to hear parents and be able to determine the ones that are truly in fear with reason for their children with a particular parent, these parents know that their children could end up dead, child services needs to hear and act!!!!
