They saying he took her to a different hospital and she came out "not pregnant", while the hospital has no paper work or video of her or them ever being there. There is a lot of circumstancal evidence to convict him. I'm surprised it took so long.

Apart from that, there is also CCTV footage that shows him driving Kelsie’s car and withdrawing $400 from her bank account the morning after she vanished. When all this got combined with Donthe’s former home catching fire just weeks after officers searched it for evidence, he was charged and arrested for his former girlfriend’s mysterious murder. Their star witness, who would have allegedly testified that Donthe confessed the killing to her, couldn’t make it to court as she was shot to death just days before. Nevertheless, after just three hours of deliberation, on March 8, 2021, a 12-member jury found him guilty of first-degree murder, and the judge sentenced him to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

You have to have probable cause for a warrant to search. If there is no evidence so to speak then they can't. The phone possibly but we don't know all the evidence they do have, his phone, might have already been searched. You see 20 mins of the "investigation" you don't know what they have or don't have. I'm sure nothing happened in the home- either the young ladies car or outside somewhere it seems, and I'm sure she was dumped somewhere-so until they have a body or bones, now since it's been years- then they will go from there. Some murders and murderers never get caught or never get solved and it's not from lack of law enforcement not doing their jobs. You make assumptions you know nothing about, typical anymore.

I was separated from my wife and got my new girlfriend pregnant. She wasn't seeing anyone else and I absolutely knew that I was the father. We had been living together for months so I knew. My girlfriend was so infatuated with me that she gave me whatever I wanted. So when she told me she was pregnant, I said well I guess that we are going to have a baby. And everything turned out great. Our daughter is such a wonderful human being. I got divorced and married my girlfriend.

I haven’t watched this whole thing yet so idk if they mention this, but a woman, Roxann Martinez was “a witness in the trial against Donthe Lucas, who is accused of murdering Schelling in 2013” and she was scheduled to testify in the trial, but was murdered by a man, Emmanuel Chandler (her ex boyfriend) and they don’t think it’s related at all ?!?! They’re saying it was a domestic violence related incident but he shot her, dumped her in a street gutter and poured bleach all over her. I’m sorry how is that not a coincidence ?

Dave Chappelle in his comedy special said he's fully in favour of a womens right to choice but it needs to be both ways, he went on to say that if the mother has the right to murder it then the father should have the right to abandon it. Got huge laughs from the audience. This is an extremely common crime, I am a true crime addict and can tell you that it's very common for an uninterested father to kill a pregnant girlfriend, I even remember it happened in one case where the girlfriend was just teasing. Since we all know how expensive it is to raise a child, especially if the father is a good earner so will be on the hook for expenses for at least 18 future years, perhaps the only way to reduce this very common crime is if we take seriously Dave Chappelles suggestion?

I don't know how or why anyone would be "surprised" or have an "unexpected" pregnancy? If you engage in sex, literally the act that is designed to cause pregnancy & create a baby, there is absolutely no reason that a pregnancy is unexpected. Regardless of whether or not they use "protection." Birth control/protection is not 100% guaranteed. If someone is not responsible enough to handle the result (a child) of having sex then they are not responsible enough to have sex.

By all accounts going by quite a few comments on here, Donte was charged and then convicted of MURDER in 2021. He received LIFE IN PRISON WITHOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF PAROLE. I personally find this to be ALMOST the very best news. We now just need to find Kelsie and bring her home to her family and loved ones. I also hope that the police haven't fully closed this case because I'm definitely not convinced that his mother hasn't had something to do with Kelsie's disappearance. After all, IF you know nothing at all, wouldn't you be asking ALOT of questions to your son and more then on one occasion, an example being, 'WHY HAVE YOU GOT KELSIE'S CAR AND WHY ARE YOU DROPPING IT OFF AT THE SUPERMARKET?' Which she did know about that because she was waiting there for him. Also, I'm not sure why it took the police so incredibly long to charge this sorry excuse of a man. Now obviously I realise they hadn't as yet found Kelsie's body and as far as I'm aware, still haven't, BUT they had quite abit of video footage to help their case. They knew he was the last person to see and to talk to Kelsie, with his own admission of that fact, so did they get fingerprints off of Kelsie's car, the steering wheel, handbrake, gear box, the lever to alter the drivers seat etc, because I personally did not see that person who got out of Kelsie's car take off any gloves and nor could I see him wearing any, although that was obviously hard to see completely going by this grainy type video. The police would also be able to tell that person's height going by other markers around him, like lights etc and possibly from the position of the drivers seat. Like seeing as he was 6 foot 4, then the seat would be way back and that would at least narrow down alot of possibilities, seeing as there are probably not an abundance of people being that tall, or taller in the community. Anyway, I suppose none of that really matters now because Donte has apparently been found GUILTY OF MURDER and has been sentenced to LIFE IN JAIL WITHOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF PAROLE, which is absolutely THE VERY BEST NEWS POSSIBLE. WELL ALMOST. WE NOW MUST FIND THE BEAUTIFUL KELSIE and get her home to her loving, heartbroken family. One thing I've learnt in live is to trust your parents guts. When they don't feel good about the boy or man you're dating pull yourself first most of the time God protects us like that. That's why the Bible says children obey your parents for you to have a happy and long life. Not because of this case only but some people I personally know about.
