I had a wonderful teacher of physiology in Medical school in Pakistan by the name of Rose Madan and she inspired me to go into Pulmonary. I see my teacher's style in Dr John West. So how much of the lungs' weight is supported by the trachea and how much is supported by the diaphragm? While upright, I mean, are the lungs mostly dangling or mostly sitting?
