THE ZOO IS JUST BEAUTIFUL. IT HAS CHANGE SO MUCHO FROM WHAT IT USE TO BE BACK IN THE 50 AND 60. MY MOTHER USE TO TAKE TO THE ZOO ALMOST EVERY SUNDAY. I WOULD RUN AROUND THE ZOO GOING FROM ONE PLACE TO ANOTHER, MY MOTHER HAD A HARD TIME KEEPING UP WITH ME😂 I REMEMBER THAT THERE WAS A GORILLA, I FORGOT HIS NAME, THE THING WAS THAT WHEN EVER SOMEONE GOT TO CLOSE TO HIS CAGE, AND THIS FOR REAL, 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 HE WOULD THREW SHIT AT THAT PERSON. I NEVER GOT HIT,CAUSE I KNEW BETTER. MEMORIES OF THOSE SUNDAY TRIPS TO THE ZOO THAT WILL ALWAYS LIVE IN MY HEART. S.F. THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND WOUNDERFUL CITY IN THE WOULD. LOVE YOU ALWAYS S.F. The Zoo needs plenty of work though. A lot of undeveloped land that could be put to use, and their current Director and CEO Tanya Peterson does not have the support of majority of the Zoo Employees and Union Workers. So she needs to go

Great video 📹! Although the Zoo has plenty of work still to do. You have areas that were constructed in the late 1930's that needs to be completely remodeled, their current Director Tanya Peterson doesn't have the support of majority of the Zoo employees and the Union workers and she didn't have any prior experience working in the Zoological field before replacing Manuel Molliendo in late 2008, so she needs to go too. Plus the Zoo currently does not have a long term Master Plan, so something needs to be put into place.
