Sky News host Sharri Markson calls on Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Foreign Minister Penny Wong to condemn the body-blocking of Sky News host Cheng Lei at a state lunch for China’s Premier Li Qiang.
“The outrageous move by Chinese officials to body block … Cheng Lei at a press conference on Australian soil,” she said.
“We are still waiting for the Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister to properly condemn this unacceptable act.”

There are mistakes on three parties: Chen Lei should review why she was detained in China for three years, it’s not about freedom of speech. Anybody who did the stuff will be punished by any country involved; Sky news should not hire her and put her in such an important event. It is a direct challenge to China and harm to China and Australia relations! Chinese consulate should be more open minded to such activities if you know the nature of sky news. It,s not easy for both countries to go this far. A good relations is beneficial to both countries and two peoples.

An official of the Australian Parliament had asked the Chinese to move by the looks of the video taken, they obviously refused....this happened in our own parliament.....not in china.....oh well that is OK.....because the current PM never saw it....
