I'll be 67 this year and have just taken on all my repairs. I should have had this done already. It's good that you're doing this now as, when you are older, trust me, it becomes much harder to do things.

I just turn 67 in May 14th and yes I too have a lot to do I wish that I had started sooner the body is trying to say wooh there I have to tear off my add on to the trailer it is falling down need new floors roof need patch ect...

This is great! I am so glad your plumbing is done. Every time I saw you carry those buckets. I could have cried. Also, I'm thinking of your future. Because I went from 56 working 18 hour days. To disabled at 59. That now can't even drive. It felt like a blink of an eye. We should all prepare. So the golden years are golden. Not heartache. Love ya!

Your neighbors won't know what is happening over at your house!!! Gutters and Downspouts Tessie. They are a blessing. Yes.....Do it while you are still young and can still do things and can appreciate your efforts. Be careful and don't get hurt! They have a house spray that you spray on, wait 10 minutes, and wash off! NO SCRUBBING!!!!(30 Second House Cleaner, Wet&Forget and others. Amazon, Lowe's, Honey Depot etc!)❤😊

Go for it! Health reasons made me retire very much earlier than expected and our income to drop by two thirds. Paying the mortgage took way longer than planned as a result and renovating was delayed by two decades. At 83 and 71 we finally began making the 500+ year old cottage a better home to live in. It is a joy to be finally doing it , but would have been much easier in our 50s and 60s, plus labour for what we can't do and all materials are constantly rising. But God has a plan for each of us and perhaps the delay was to keep us fitter in old age? It is still fun to do but each job takes way more time than it would have done years ago. Here's hoping that, by our age, you have only small projects of maintenance and enjoyable seasonal decor changes to do and you can enjoy your gardens, your books, cooking and each other's company. Tessie, I am so happy for you both as you begin your renovation journey. Your property is wonderful to view as you pan your camera around. Once again, your country drives to your destination have me glued to my computer as I take in the architecture of your area. I mentioned in an earlier video that our son and his wife are on a 3 year RAAF posting to Texas. They are loving it, and the friendliness of the "Yanks" wherever they go. They experienced their first tornado/hurricane warning a few days ago and spent an hour hiding in a cupboard with their bike helmets on........then no power for 12 hours! Congratulations on your new style of video, I am so enjoying your calm and gentle presentations, and very keen to view the progress as you beaver away. You and Kenny did a great job putting up the guttering, and it looks good! Being "house proud" shows how much you care and appreciate why you live where you live! Warm wishes,

Our house is white also and has dirty siding. We have a pressure washer so I am kind of hoping that will clean it lol. Our house is 2 stories tall so cleaning the upper floor would require a really tall ladder and the biggest we have is 8 foot one. You are getting a lot of things done! Looking good!
