5:54 The TV station fight is not based on time, instead enemies will cease respawning once the RPG troops on the second story of the "arena" have been killed and the player has moved across to the opposite side of the room to where they enter. This is the case with most enemies in the game, where their respawns are tied to how far the player has advanced in the level. The intention, along with the grenade/rpg spam (especially in the US Marines levels) seems to be to encourage the player to be aggressive and move forwards constantly rather than methodically clearing rooms and streets. MW2 changes this by removing enemy respawns almost entirely and significantly reducing the number of enemies with explosives, which lets you methodically clear most of the game from a safe distance, which is one of the reasons why it's so much easier than MW1. 7:40 The Second Russian Civil War isn't really fleshed out that much in game, and there can be a lot of confusion because both the Loyalists and Ultranationalists wear the hammer and sickle. But the Loyalists themselves aren't Communists, the pins like on Kamarov's hat are used to this day in the Russian army out of tradition. The Ultranationalists use a red and black hammer and sickle flag which is also featured in MW2 in the Gulag mission. Even 14 years after I first played it, I still hold the opinion that MW1 is an excellent game. It certainly has flaws, and it can feel unfair at times. But it's fun, and the atmosphere and writing is a lot better than most triple AAA fpses including it's sequel (although that isn't saying much).

I played this game when I was a little kid with no english and loved it. Still, to this day I think this was the most fun I had playing a single-player shooter game. Back then I didn't understand the story other than Zakhaev=evil and middle east=war, and didn't feel the need. I felt symphaty towards the NPCs that were always around me, like Gaz, Nikolai, Griggs, Ramirez, and felt bad when they got killed in the end or captured. This game was perfect for people like myself, it makes you constantly hyped over something whether it be your teammates dying dramatically, or your ship is about to sink and you have to get out in time, or there are some nukes that you need to stop. It was a lot of brainless fun. Growing up and trying to make sense out of games made me not enjoy things I used to enjoy, and that sucks :/

In a bit of a half-hearted defense (I've never actually played the game myself), Russia's 3 biggest parties are United Russia (party of Putin, who is fairly nationalistic), the Communist Party (still gets ~20% of the vote, mostly older/rural people), and the "Liberal Democratic" Party (gets ~10%, ultraconservative nationalists). So overall it's not TOO crazy a thought. Many still contend that the Gennady Zyuganov and the Communists should have won the 1996 election against Boris Yeltsin, saying that the vote was rigged against them. I suppose that could be a point of divergence.

United Russia is as nationalistic as Tories are, i.e. in no way, shape or form unless for pure PR. They've been bending over backwards to appease the Chechens for the past 15 years can be seen at the sheer amount of money Moscow throws at Grozny. The Communist Party is a non-fact as it's: a) has no concrete election platform and acts as a contrarian force regardless of whether that aligns with their communist ideology or not; b) gets votes from boomers who have yet to die off. And as for LDPR, it's a one man party with no specific ideology to speak off aside from Zhirinovsky making a clown out of himself. He makes outrageous statements on any given topic and that's that. You know what the funny bit with Russian ultranationalists in CoD 4 is? They're led by a Chechen with the most stereotypical name you could think of who also looks the part. That's like if I made a CoD game about WW2 and Nazi Germany was led by Supreme Leader Schlomo Goldstein, if you catch my drift.

At least Norwegian Law is written in a very clear language that is generally difficult to misinterpret. While I am able to understand what is written in the laws, I lack the bigger picture and knowledge about the quirks of Norwegian law and therefore always value the services lawyers offer over my very limited knowledge on law. The feeling of unabriled rage this game provokes, and the sheer denial of most people who talk about this game, where they excuse the extremely stupid design choices of it because they liked it back in the day, or because it's popular is unforgivable, specially after all the damage it made to the 7th gen of consoles. Fuck the new KZbin algorythm. Content creators like you should have been recomended to my feed a year ago, and here I learned about your channel due to watching on Bitchute.

6:00 there is - moving forward. Whilst the game - if I remember correctly that is - has no infinitely respawning waves of enemies, they do respawn quite often. It's meant to give you a "heat of the battlefield" kind of feeling (the exception are defense missions where the trigger for them to respawn or not is tied to the events - things like the Pripyat extraction, or the tank defense). They will eventually stop respawning during normal segments, though the intended way is to just push forward. This works quite well most of the time since most areas aren't *that* open and difficulties below veteran are quite forgiving.

For all this game's flaws between hallways not meant for veteran difficulty in mind (the ferris wheel from One Shot One Kill) to Nikolai neglecting key information that would've saved multiple characters (the Ultranationalists' intentions with the nuke prior to Shock and Awe, the fact that Al'Asad had a safehouse, etc.) and the game's rather swift conclusion (seriously, why did Zakhaev get off from his position of safety to execute the remaining SAS team? He didn't need to and for all we know, he had no idea the man who shot off his arm was among the SAS/Marine strike team and all he really needed to do was continue slipping into hiding), I still accept this game as above-average by current standards. Its plot is otherwise simple and self contained. The difficulty - while certainly absurd in some parts - is reflective enough of actual combat to feel immersive: you'll only die in a few shots, typically you'll be hugging cover while bullets fly overhead, and the enemy is very much given the same treatment.

@@joedatius these games were always made with short and linear campaigns that are very cinematic it's unfair to say it's not made for single player it definitely has care put into it and is meant to be played but it is what it is ya know? the multiplayer modes are where they expect people to put most of their time who decide to stick with the games and it shows in the numbers people did stick around to play multiplayer

"Man, if I wan an evil Russian, I would just go back into the now-empty base and fire off the other missiles that are still there. That's the only fitting fate for a world this stupid." The best part about this to me is the fact that the voice actor for the informant Nikolai, is also a voice actor in Metro 2033.

Insert joke about being tired with attempts at making a game with a message and failing so badly at it that the only thing that keeps your franchise alive is the fact that it does not matter how poor your game's story is the multiplayer microtransactions will always keep you afloat. Abit long-winded if you ask me.

Well, russain politics in the game made some sense ones you pass the code that characters speake in. Basically ultranationalist are chechen rebels who apparently tries to build a Coucasus Halifat Chamil style. That's why they fight in Azers country and not only in Russia. And maine antagonist does look like a chechen. And does have a chechen name. He also tries to sell weapons in 96 Ukraine in Ichkeria dau it is. Also, Azerbaijan looks like a estern European country couse it was a pert of Eastern European country called "USSR". So al in all Modern Warfare is about westerners figthin muslims. And you did't seems to notice that. That's pretty embaracind.
