Wild I had not seen either of two first trailers, which had tone and message that drove the importance of the political and historical context and why it might be relevant ("doomed to repeat".. etc). Every time I hear a new COD is coming out I start on the fence if I will even get it, and each time I end up getting it and loving it. Looks like I am getting another COD game. Good breakdown, I like that you chained the trailers together in one reaction.

I play Warzone and the event they had for the reveal was super dope... It was so nerve racking at the same time I was on the edge of the seat the whole time... I am really waiting for the different changes they will make to Warzone when it moves to Cold War.... Campaign looks dope btw (It is a sequel to Original Black ops) but I am worried if I have 300GB storage available on my SSD... lol

Really good trailer, However in the trailer they play: Blue Monday + is set in 1981! And that was released as a single in 1983 and was recorded in 1982 for the album: Power, Corruption + lies It was not even written and/or sung live in 1981 So the continuity person should get the sack

The black ops series goes down hill after 2, 4 doesn't even have a campaign. You have already played all the great COD games. The latest Modern Warfare is a reboot but the campaign was pretty good so I have hope for the future modern warfare games. Blacks ops cold war looks good and I hope its a soft reboot to the series.

That would not be the case because this is a sequel to Original Black Ops and a prequel to Black Ops 2 and I hope if you have played both than you remember what happened to Mason in Black Ops 2 (I won't spoil). So if he had been Perseus than the 1989, Operation Just Cause won't happen with him still on the good guy's side because that happens after this cold war story... So he is not Mason and if he is than it will be a major inconsistently in the Black Ops Universe which is unlikely to happen...

Well, if they wanna be historically accurate, America getting their shit pushed in by Vietnam is what's gonna have to happen. They'll also have to show the atrocities we committed there to be accurate as well. In the first Black Ops they showed us committing said atrocities like using napalm (but it was extremely glorified, completely unlike the way Spec Ops: The Line handles war crimes) and other such things like murdering and raping civilians.
