At the beginning I am from Poland. Specifically from Lower Silesia. These lands have always been the reason for the conflict between Poland and Germany. As a Pole, I know the history of our nations fairly well. I know a lot of stories from my grandparents about the WW2 period. They taught me that not all of the invaders were bad. Many of them did not want this war. Afterwards, my grandparents had many friends and people who helped them during the war. It taught me that I can not judge people my age through the prism of our history. BUT the deception of history in the name of today's correctness is the biggest crime. Each of us knows a man from an early age learns from mistakes. One man is not able to make such a big mistake as the whole nation, so why in the mass media we try to change history. I know that it is painful but opens the eyes so that we do not make the same mistakes again. That's why I think that games that are made in the name of today's post-linguistic correctness should be banished. I realize that many players come from outside Europe really do not really realize how big the tragedy was in World War 2. But showing Americans as saviors around the world who respect black-skinned citizens is an insult to these people. France was a country that surrendered as one of the first. Nevertheless, he is shown as one of the main opponents of the German aggression in Europe in the game. Russia's contribution to the whole event is completely neglected. Poland was the first country attacked by Germany, it was in my country that the largest destruction took place, on the one hand attacked by Germany from the Second by the Soviet Union I think that historical truth should stand above any political / social correctness, etc. Especially in mass media. Not to blame but to draw a conclusion and not let it happen again. I apologize for my poor English

It's really dissapointing, too. Britain's contributions to the war would've made for some DARN DIGGITY EPIC levels. CODWW2, and shooter games back in time in general, need to read up on history. If they don't, they shouldn't make a game about it, make something original. That's how I right stories. I write an original plot, story, characters, etc. then take things that I'm curious about, that I look up, (such as the battle of the Barge) and incorporate things, big or small, that reference, in this case, the Barge. All FPS companies need is a computer: has too many of those at game companies. A small 5 seconds to look up, and a good half hour to read through: It's too hard/We don't have that kind of time even. Well then, you got a problem. Release it next year. You're only adding a bigger number to the box anyway, because like Acting Male said: the fanbase's opinion is too different.

That's a pretty fair comment. It's still our place to point out problems that come up but it's not up to us to try and personally fix the problems, just find what we can or make criticisms if it was just a dumb decision that got made.

Some people would surely go out of their way to imagine a way to "fix" the problem, or at the very least ease it. Problem is, unless you're dealing with a small dev in a small game or something like that (mods are usually a good example), chances are you won't spend ur time thinking about it as you wouldn't expect anyone to read all your feedback and actually consider your "fix". And that's pretty understandable, from both sides. Then you're got the dev team to try and put themselves in ur skin and see the problem as you do, which is not the easiest thing to do sometimes.

Hey ActMan! Here is my CoD story: I remember that when Black Ops came out I never stopped playing WaW and MW2. They were my perfect trio on the PS3. I got tired of BO? I would go to WaW. Tired of it? Switch to MW2 and it was an endless cycle of fun! I never got the PS4 or the PS5, I took a long break from console videogames and went to PC. I found it hard to go back to console, I never understood why launch a CoD game every dam year? When BO2 was announced I was like: What? Already? I haven't even got to 2nd prestige of BO and they want to release a BO2 right now? Give us more time to enjoy these games! I am still having sick amounts of fun with WaW, MW2 and BO, instead how about doing something about the hackers of WaW!!! Because I remember perfectly that WaW got infected with hackers. I rented MW3 from Blockbuster, didn't like it, never touched BO2 or Ghosts but I rented AW and I actually liked it enough to buy myself a copy of it and I did. They only thing that I hated was the "pay 2 win", people with purchased weapons that would kill you with 2 or 3 bullets. Other than that it was a game that I enjoyed very much and that was the last CoD I ever played until now. Good things were happening for PC, I spent a lot of time playing the SC II campaings, the custom games and the online. WoL, HotS and LotV. I got to Diamond in 1v1 and could've gone higher but I liked my friends and they didn't have the same 1v1 ambition like me so they never really cared to practice with me. Anyways... The CoD games from Steam. THEY SUCK. The multiplayer servers are dead, no crossplay and all you can play is Team Deathmatch but good luck at finding a match with NO HACKERS. I have in Steam all the CoD masterpieces (WaW, BO, MW2) and also AW but I can only play the campaings or TDM with hackers. So I purchased Modern Warfare Remastered from Battlenet and only because I missed S&D and all the other modes. A little scared, tho, because AW really left me a bad taste with it's p2w guns and tbh, it still feels like they have p2w guns in MWR. At sometimes Vanguard's MultiPplayer is F2P for like a weekend on Bnet and I tried that shit. The very 1st match there is a goddam titan from SNK with an OP weapon just cleaning the lobby. Operators suck and weapon customization is TOO DAMN complex. I started to feel old, like: Man was gun customization this complex that I didn't notice back then? Am I getting dumber or something? But yea, like you said it's not me its fucking ACTIVISION/TREYARCH/SLEDGEHAMMER/BLIZZARD/EA/DICE the ones that are getting dumber! Now you can access to 4 diff CoD games from 1 menu and remember how I said I would happily cycle between CoD games? Now it causes me pain to even look at the other titles and Warzone is also broke and filled with hackers. Why TF are LMG's so damn smooth to shoot with each CoD game? Not to be a nerd but I’m a nerd so ww2 lasted about a year after d day and he was honorably discharge so he got off sooner than 9 months and Evan if he didn’t get honorably discharge he could still come back to a pregnant girlfriend and have time to come back to the war because there would be around 3 months left of the war in Europe and if he got her pregnant before he went to war which he did he would still have time to come home since he would be at war for 9 months so there could be time before the baby was born... Cod ww2 is a 101% accurate representation of WW2. According to my grandfather, who is a ww2 veteran with dementia, he was given orders by his general to kill a certain amount of Nazis with an M1 Garand. When he did do that he said this plane came by and dropped a box right in front of him. When he opened it he said that he got colorful grips for his m1911. He would then further say that he squad mate, got 3 strange variants of weapons that all had a fancy chrome look. True story

I remember playing cod ww2 zombies because I was at a friend's house and they told me it was the most scariest shit ever, but honestly it made me feel empty, then I look at this video from those years ago and then got an epiphany on why it sucked so much. Ww2 zombies felt so corporate, which is funny since cod is an annual release franchise published by a money hungry company, but zombies felt like the developers (specifically Treyarch) were uncuffed from the chains of creativity and really just packed the mode with so much charm with what seems like limitless creativity.

My only problem with Snipers is when the damage is maxed to 10 or 16 or nearly the entire Bar. Doesn't give escape time and they are a PAIN to detect and I just want the 1-Shot Snipers removed and at least have Fast 2-shot Snipers. I'm so glad he showed so much love to WaW. Shows he knows wtf he's talking about. Treyarch made some amazing maps in that game, downright perfect maps. Us veterans know how great that game was. My boys and I still play it, there's an option to avoid players so everyone does that and the cheaters/modders aren't that hard to circumvent. It's not like MW2 at all when it comes to hackers trust me. Any new CoD fans should really give WaW a try it's only like $20. The game is fucking amazing. Same with BO1. MW, WaW, MW2 and BO1 are the golden games, we didn't know how good we had it. After that it all started going downhill. BO3 was a fun game but not really a CoD game. The other jet pack games are trash. BO2 was ok I guess, I wasn't a fan. Hoping BO4 is the renaissance we deserve.

For the people that complain about camping snipers in gustav: The whole point of Gustav is to camp with a sniper. They designed the map around sniping. Also, snipers have always been a problem in CoD. While it is annoying, Act Man has a point.

I think the issue is that modern COD maps with the three lane layout force run-and-gun gameplay, so even though snipers have always been in COD, the only viable strategy for them recently has been quick-scoping. Then along comes a map that is designed around sniping, and players who haven’t had to play around actual sniping for years have no clue what to do. It feels like it’s out of their control, and so they blame the map for being bad, when really they just haven’t been prepared for the gameplay that map engenders. Basically, COD has been shit for years, and players forgot how to play maps that aren’t just left-middle-right.

I have memories on both consoles Xbox 360 carries my black ops one memories and the feeling of hoping into a call of duty lobby and messing around while you had no wifi.
